$35 for parking, $8 for a 12oz beer, $10 for a slice of pizza and you can't even put in a decent big screen T.V. or a scoreboard that shows the scores around the league. You are a piece of work.

$10 bucks for a beer...that you can't take into the pavillion unless you pour it into a cup.........that will only hold half the beer you just bought

I think the Skins should fire him

A company can only continue charging that price if we're paying it. I'm guessing it's a subcontract, though, no?

8 bucks for a 12 oz. beer? jeez...

OBTW, if you cheer too loud or stand during the game, security will be called. :personalexperience:

Stay home. Good view of a 35" TV, a whole pizza for approx $10, parking for free in my garage, and cold beer in the frig approx $12 for a 12 pack of Heineken. Can't beat it.

Nope, no forced sex for me. I simply don't go to the games. I stay in the comfort of my own home, watch it on my TV, laying on the couch, with a fridge full of beer.

Wrong my good sir. I was at the Skins vs Eagles game and I was cheering :soberlyTYVM: when the Skins were on defense. A young lady, mid 20's or so was sitting 4 seats away in the row in front of me leaned over and told me, "I appreciate your enthusiasm but that is making me nauseous." Her bf/husband (wearing a Redskins hat) did not jump up, clap cheer or anything for the entire game.

Umm, hello I did not spend $80 (+$25 for parking) on a ticket to sit on my hands for an entire game. I believe in the power of the 12th man.

Security did not get called on me but they did escort a fan out several rows down. Now that guy was drunk and harassing every person he saw wearing Philly gear.

Relax, it's fedex
I think your crazy to pay that much for a beer, or piece of pizza. Its obvious you take your own beer, and drink before the game, and go in and enjoy it that way. We all know that going to sporting venues the food/beverages arent cheap. Instead of complaining just suck it up ! It wont be changing anytime soon, the prices that is.

...as to how many seats each game are actually filled by the season ticket holder. Most people I know catch a couple games a year, tops, and it is always someone else's ticket, meaning the ticket owner can not only afford whatever the ticket costs, but also afford, in their mind, to not even go to
however many games a year they miss.

So, it's easier to justify high ticket prices when the buyer doesn't even care and it's easier to get away with $10 cups of tap water (true story) when most of the people paying it are only there for a game or two.

It doesn't really matter what sporting event you go to - you're going to pay out the nose. I went to the University of Maryland game over Labor Day weekend. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and a large soda for $10.00. :faint:

Thats how them b*tch's R
It's the same way at Bowie Baysox game as well. It's ridiculous. When we went to the Skins/Dolphins game, we drank and ate in the parking lot first. We did have a couple of beers inside but it was at somebody else's expense. I like staying at home most of the time for games. Sometimes it is fun to go just for the "live experience" so we go maybe once to a sporting event unless someone else is paying for the ticket, hahaha.
