Dude looks a little bummed.

Oh he was. When I went back to check on him he was dazed and confused. Kept mumbling something about "my boss is going to kill me". Turns out he is (was?) the service manager for a huge car dealership and was on his vacation driving around the (brand new) Challenger his boss let him borrow for the week. Yeah, his week went from pretty cool to poop in a hurry.

And BTW, he hit me twice. As I mentioned, his foot was still on the gas and his flip flop jammed the gas on impact and stuck. Back end went up the air, came back down, and the car hit me again. Was fun...

For the race junkies (the importance of power to weight ratio).

2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 weights roars out 470hp and weighs a 4160lbs via 6.4l v8 hemi
2012 Honda Civic purrs 150hp but at 2600lbs via 1.8l I4 ivtec

STock 2013 STR8 Challenger runs mid 13's...
Stock 2012 Civic is only a second slower.

Hope these "racers" have learned to keep it on the track.

* A stock 2006-2007 Subaru STI runs mid 12's, stock (300hp @ 3400lbs) (pick one up for $15k used). Great reliability, a bit too square for me.
