And the satin suits.
No, but I'm not a teenager hanging out with my friends. Thats how kids dress now, the get the style from watching big stars. I suppose you never wore something stupid looking when you were growing up?Originally posted by ceo_pte
NO... For looking like idiots. In style with what? I guess you dress like that to go to work?
Don't confuse Petezaa with festivus. They have feats of strength in festivus, in Petezaa we have 8 days celebrating all things Pete capped off by a Pizza and Beer feast with all women being topless.Originally posted by *archimedes*
When are the feats of strength?

Go to any public place and check it out. It's not just Waldorf. Oversize clothing wasn't what was in style in your day. Members Only jackets and mulletts were probably the style back then. I'm sure your parents just loved everything you walked out of the house in.Originally posted by ceo_pte
yes.. I wore the college shirts! But never had the urge to buy pants that were too big or pull mine down to my knees. "That's how kids dress now." NOT! ONLY In WALDORF.
I agree with you there, they look stupid. And it's not just KIDS! I see guys/girls older than me wearing the crap. It's ok on game day or something like that, but these people wear it everyday!

Yes it is, the kids there just don't speak English.
You made it sound like NoVa is better or something. I've been working in NoVa for over ten years and it isn't. Pay is better over here but that is about as far as it goes.Originally posted by ceo_pte
OH BS!

I don't get it. My eyes are fine. You chose to compare NoVa with Waldorf. Two totally different areas. Isn't NoVa the immigrant capital of the U.S.? I think it is, the last I heard.Originally posted by ceo_pte
Sorry to hear your eyes are bad. I'll pay for the eye doctor visit.

And I agreed with you, they don't wear that kind of stuff they just don't speak English (not that there is anything wrong with that).Originally posted by ceo_pte
you need to read the thread. We were not talking about immigrants. I also do not know where you work, but I lived in Clarendon and Alexandria(Old Towne). Sorry, but for the most part, the people(kids included) do not wear jerseys and w/ their pants pulled down to their knees.
