St James coming along

My daughter surprised us by picking up pizza and subs for dinner on Saturday night. So glad they're finally back.

So spill, is the pizza the same?
I think it's better. They make their own dough now, can't get any fresher.

And they still have their awesome specialty pizzas on the menu.

Toppings, sauce, etc are the same, but the dough is awesome.

We haven't tried any sandwiches yet, but I will say the owners went above and beyond to ensure we get the best. Their kitchen is amazing.

Stopped by St. James the other day. Was surprised to see the ENORMOUS amount of empty space and about a dozen people waiting on food orders. Would have thought they would fill that void with places for people to sit :sshrug:

#2 son works at St. Inigoes and has been raving about the lunch menu at St. James. Wife and I plan to get one of their pizzas the next time we're by there to shoot at the range.

They just got all the shelving in to fill those voids. This was the issue the last year or so with them opening. Supplies of needed materials. From the hardware for their front door(and the front door itself) to needed duct work pieces, and finally they decided to not wait any longer, and opened without any shelving or products that would be on the shelving.. they have been waiting, and wanting to open for a long time, but simple material supply was preventing them to.

Nicholas works there too (#3 son).. just shot at the range last month for the first time. Its impressive... tried to drop some money there to help all I can. Spent a lot of time talking about their build, who did it, and why..

It is a very impressive facility indeed. Wife and I have known the Thomas' for quite a few years; we've both taken numerous courses given by them, since way before the range was built. We donated some of the "decorations" on the wall in the retail area, in fact.

I know they need to improve their alcohol selection, but I thought the shelves would be more for groceries, and sundries (like WAWA or Shitz)..
You may be right and probably have the inside scoop on that. There were large cartons sitting in the middle of the floor this morning so assuming that was shelving for something - hopefully adult beverages.
