Inhumane to flies though.

Prefer those guns that they used to sell when I was younger.......It was spring loaded with a 4" round flyswatter looking end on it. when you saw a fly.....you could just shoot it.......those things were great........probably to violent for people these days.

When you relocate a mouse. It will find its way back in your haouse and bring along some friends. You need to kill. Find the places it/they come in from and seal them good. You run the risk of getting Henta virus. You want to risk your family to that because you want to be humane and not kill the buggars spreading that.

Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) is a deadly disease from rodents. Humans can contract the disease when they come into contact with infected rodents or their urine and droppings. HPS was first recognized in 1993 and has since been identified throughout the United States. Although rare, HPS is potentially deadly. Rodent control in and around the home remains the primary strategy for preventing hantavirus infection.

From the CDC..

Case Information: Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome Case Count and Descriptive Statistics
Through September 19, 2006, a total of 453 cases of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome have been reported in the United States. The case count started when the disease was first recognized in May 1993. Thirty-five percent of all reported cases have resulted in death.

Of persons ill with HPS, 63% have been male, 37% female.

The mean age of confirmed case patients is 38 years (range: 10 to 83 years).

HPS can strike anyone; however, whites currently account for 78% of all cases. American Indians account for about 19% of cases, African Americans for 2% of cases, and Asians for 1% of cases. About 15% of HPS cases have been reported among Hispanics (ethnicity considered separately from race).

Cases have been reported in 30 states, including most of the western half of the country and some eastern states as well. Over half of the confirmed cases have been reported from areas outside the Four Corners area.

About three-quarters of patients with HPS have been residents of rural areas.

Definitely don't buy the sticky ones if you want them to survive. You can't get them out at all. Live traps are available somewhere, I just don't know where. Sorry!

a cat might eventually decide to turn mouser and eat it...
Sorry dems but that's what cats were designed for-is this an indoor cat?
Do like I do, leave bird food/sunflower seeds available for the mice-they stay outdoors and no mouse problem fer me!
Those sticky traps are inhumane!

Had to use those in HI. bugs would eat any bait in the trap and never set them off.
When we caught a mouse, he's go in a paperbag which would then be place under the wheel of the car. Drive forward a couple of feet then toss the bag in the trash, no more mouse.

puzzy I usually just stomp them with my boot :buttkick:

i had them hiding behind my micro and then running into the stove burrners also TFF. I have used sticky traps with great success when the snapp traps just were not fast enough to catch the little bastards.
