STORM WARNING: Possible school closings...

:jet: I've been told to report tomorrow morning. If classes at CSM are cancelled, I'm not going to work. If CSM feels it's not safe to drive, than it's probably not. Their word is more reliable than Charles County Public School's word and "Open on time" during a tornado warning and hurricane-force conditions is.

BREAKING NEWS: Hearing schools could be closed for the remainder of the week. And Monday is a holiday. If I get out of work for an entire week, I'll be a happy camper.

Bring on the snow! :wench:

Are you a student in High school? :jameo:

Nevermind :lmao:

I was at safeway at lunch time today...the parking lot was packed full....and the store was crowded...they had to call for back up on the cash registers...i have never seen anything like it, except in MD...its just water...whether it be frozen or not. We aren't going to die...

I guess you haven't had the pleasure of being in an ice storm?

This amazes me, I've never in my life seen a snow storm where we were snowed in enough to need that many groceries, toilet paper or anything else that we couldn't wait a half a day to get. I think it's just a Maryland tradition to shop like that whenever they call for a "winter weather event". :killingme I love to bake when it snows, but there hasn't even been a storm worthy of baking in a long time.

This isn't even going to be an ice storm for Southern Maryland, just plain old rain. Hope it's enought to wash the salt off my car though.

It's the ice that sends people out in droves to the store to stock up.

I think you might be wrong about that. It is WAY to cold down here to just be rain. It was colder here than it was in northern maryland today.
