That's what it boils down to. Let's not kid ourselves. People want to blame her for the drama but she's not the source.
So what? If it weren't that, it would be something else. That's what tabloids do. She was an American actress and shouldn't be freaking out about bad press.
The truth is that she's a brainless progbot who has a problem with everything and wants to make a stink. The question is, why is Harry going along with it? Keep in mind that this is the woman who announced that she is raising her child to be "gender-fluid".

Mark Steyn HAS hit on something, and it makes sense. Being a Prince isn't as glamorous as people think. If a person could CHOOSE to be one - for life - and knew all the consequences - they might not pick it as a career. You're a well paid civil servant who lives in a glass house and your life from birth to death is chosen for you. If you want that, good for you, but if you don't, life is a prison. You MUST behave and live like a royal - you don't have a choice.

I don't doubt that some of the resistance is childish. As I mentioned before some of it is the contrast between the drudgery that is being a royal to the celebrity that is being - a celebrity. How many people would turn down the choice of being a wealthy celebrity in America versus being a royal whose duties involve long boring meetings with snobs and royalty and appearances at charities where no one shows up - AND being roasted in the press?
It's not for naught that history is replete with royalty trying to escape their responsibilities and long for something else. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.

I read a couple interesting articles over the weekend. One stated that while Will was flying Apache's in the Army, he felt his life had real purpose. Once he left the Army, and got in the day-to-day life of being a "Royal", things started falling apart. Another stated that there's a good chance that much of this is a result of the way his mom was treated by the Royal family during the run up to the divorce, and her treatment by the UK tabloid press. All of that came screaming back to the forefront when Will hooked up with Megan.
Princess Yoko can't hack the bad press, so she decides to separate Harry from his family and dump the Royals. Because, yeah, THAT will get them to leave her alone.
No doubt this is all attention-seeking bullshit. She's been doing it since the day they got engaged - coming up with one ridiculous proclamation after the other to get some ink. If she really wanted to be on the DL she wouldn't have released a statement about raising her kid to be trans, or how much she hates Donald Trump, or any of the other provocative PR moves she's made.
She says she wants to be out of the limelight, then does everything she can to get her name in the papers.

When I first heard of the couple's plan to remove themselves from the royal family, I was sure the Queen was fed up and had told them to vacate, but was 'allowing' them to make it sound like their own plan.

Or perhaps Harry is being held in order to keep Andrew from talking about Epstein's other pal Bill Clinton....
