Family Dollar has plenty of body wash, etc. I was in there last week and they're only letting 5 people in at a time now.
I didn't try FD, but Dollar General was out as well.

How are they doing that? Is someone at the door counting heads or something?
Yep. They're doing it at Lowes last week when I went to get my gas grill, at grocery stores over here in Calvert (depending on how many people are in there at the time you get there) They were doing it at Nick's of Calvert. They weren't doing it at Walmart in PF when we went yesterday, so we must have gotten there early enough that there weren't that many people in there.

Crazy times...haven't been subjected to it yet and not sure I'll have the patience to hang around when I do. How are they doing farmers markets?

Yes, the door to get in is locked and they let you in. I've been going in the early evenings, no crowds and no lines and no toilet paper. I got right in.
FIFY

I've been going in the morning since that's usually when I'm out and about for appointments and such.

No idea, I haven't been to any.
Wonder if they've even been open. I'm never up the road early enough to see the guy I usually go to - can't really think of anything that should be in season yet anyway. Local strawberries should be around late May June something like that.

Alan Sivak has a few baskets of strawberries every day.

REALLY????? ALREADY? I shop from him all the time - I need to get my butt out of bed early enough to catch him. @Gilligan you up for another strawberry shortcake with local berries? I can leave it on your doorstep and back away slowly. Thanks my-thyme

I'd make a special trip to the office for that. 😋

Is he the one with the wagon on the east side of 235, usually has lots of cabbages?
Yup - right before Turkey Neck. He's a really nice guy and his dad was as sweet as he could be. Towards the end of the season, he'd sell me cantaloupes and watermelons for fifty cents.
