I am like MMdad as long as it is a clean place and good sushi, I'd rather not sit on the floor. Us round eye aren't used to that like many Asian people are, they probably would have to have fork lifts on standby at these places for Americans that have haunched down and can't get back up.

Agreed, I love tuna, salmon and white fish like flounder. Not so much for the octopus or clam. Ew, we ordered something by mistake once...it was something scallop. We were thinking it was regular cooked scallops and they brought out some raw scallop mushed up in a seaweed roll...EWWWW!! Um, no thanks on that...I'll pass.

I love wasabi. Nothing beats that first instant when you put it in your mouth...so hot it makes your eyes water. :yum:

Oh no...preggers huh? Well, congrats on the itty bitty but til then I'll have spicy tuna for you (one of my fav's!!). Plus I really like the Florida Roll (salmon, tuna, crab and avacado) and the Rainbow Roll (salmon, tuna, flounder, avacado and roe) :drool:

Rule to live by..

NEVER eat Sushi off of a buffet!!!

This is the first thing that went through my mind after eating a californina roll of a buffet..

"OGAwd I think I'm going to throw up!!"

Ew gross, I'd never think to eat sushi of any kind from a buffet. How fresh can it be under the warmer light?! That's just asking for trouble...

I would think california roll would be relatively safe since it's cooked. granted, I've neer tried it from a buffet.

I say California roll because that is what it looked like.. what it tasted like? I have no idea what it was..
