Sorry this took so long but...
Yes, it is with great joy (and sadness) that we are celebrating the fact that the lovable pooch we've been following in this thread has found his permanent home. He is with a very nice family in Leonardtown. He has every thing he could possibly want, kids to play with, a big yard and an older mentor to teach him the ropes of being a great family dog. The mood around home has been rather melancholy since he left, but we are so happy he landed where he did.
For our last day with him we went to the beach. I believe it was his first time experiencing the sand & water. HE WAS IN HEAVEN!. He ran and played and jumped and dug until he was so pooped he just plopped down in the sand and crashed out.
