Wow - other than "An Emergency Notification Alarm, located in the main entrance vestibule for drive up citizens to activate when help is needed", no mention of use by/for the community and its citizens.

Seeing the weight issues and the result of any meaningful physical activity of many of the members of the fire dept, I'm guessing that the fitness center will only be collecting dust. However, those recliners in the day room will be getting broken in quickly with plenty of use.

As an aside, shouldn't there be a minimum mandatory physical fitness requirement for all fire/rescue/paramedic personnel in general?

For being so expensive, it sure does look very sterile. The least they could have done was to have hired an interior decorator or used some different colors in the place other than white all over.

Which looks like it's actually on the side of the building.

I'd hate to see the electric bill for that place. Might need some monthly cupcake sales to offset that bill.
