Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable. Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Was listening to a guy named Gordon Chang a few times this week. He follows China very closely. He says there's stuff going on in China currently at the top of the government between the political and military. Hi-ups are, in his words, disappearing. Their economy, already fragile, cannot take a trade war with the US. The populace will get restless very quickly. His worry is that they may do something stupid militarily.

I find this a typical "spin" by the loser media. Trump didn't back down - he rewarded those willing to deal/negotiate with a 10% tariff until terms are reached instead of the full reciprocal amount. China wanted to puff up and what did he do - smacked them with 125%. That is "dealing" not caving.

I have one ceramic 2 foot tree made in Calvert County that I use every year, and that's the extent of inside decorations. The window lights are unfortunately made overseas.

I'm thinking if you want something like a generator from Harbor Freight, better buy it now. Soon to be scarce. Since nearly everything from HF is made overseas, they may have a problem staying open.

Actually, nearly all power equipment is made overseas. Ariens is an exception.

Buy an American made product if possible.
