...just wonderful.

Judge not on the content of character but on the color of ones skin, right?

im just sayin. he obviously looked like a rapist. without reading the article, i guessed that he was black. Am i wrong? i would love to be wrong. but i know that i'm not. you will call me racist but does it really make me so? i'm going to go check the article. i wonder if it will say.

Do you know...

...that the majority of people in jail are white? Do you know that the majority of rapists are white? Do you know that the majority of wife beaters, child molesters and candy thieves are white?

I read what you wrote and you are saying this guy deserved this because of one single fact; he's black. Had the suspect been white and some white kid looked like the suspect and had his Ipod on and been bitten and tazed would you just as readily said he deserved it?

Even though he was innocent? Was the wrong person?

Or would you think maybe the officer over reacted? That it could have and should have been handled better? Even though most criminals are white?

results: so it didnt say, if he was black or not. anyway the guy holding the taser in the picture is black, so that's our first clue. now secondly, i did a google image search on Derrick Morris and this is what i turned up, if you dont believe me, i suggest you try it yourself. I think we are getting fairly close to unearthing the truth of the matter.

The figures reveal the continuing, extraordinary magnitude of minority incarceration and the stark disparity in their rates of incarceration compared to those of whites. Out of a total population of 1,976,019 incarcerated in adult facilities, 1,239,946 or 63 percent are black or Latino, though these two groups constitute only 25 percent of the national population.4 The figures also demonstrate significant differences among the states in the extent of racial disparities.

Key Findings:

Incarceration of Blacks

· In twelve states, between 10 and 15 percent of adult black men are incarcerated.

In your opinion, does a citizen EVER have the right to resist an officer or disobey an officers commands?

If you are interested in what the law says...

Read here.

If you are interested in my opinion... my opinion is: No! I wouldn't. EVER!

The caveat is "lawful arrest". You going to make that decision when a cop is trying arrest you, then roll the dice.
