Thank God for Smoke Free Restaurants!

If smokers would stand firm and vote with their dollar, restaurant owners would start to feel it and they'd be a little more forceful in sticking up for their rights as a business owner.

Unfortunately, it's not the nature of most smokers to act like whiny buttheads, bawling and puling about every little thing. So we keep giving our taxes to the welfare crowd while we stand outside smoking like good little sheeple.

I intend to stop dining out when this ban goes into effect. The food I cook is better anyway, and the beer is less expensive.

I wopuld love to open a "Private Club" restaurant where you pay a quarter at the door to join for the day and you can smoke and drink and relax and try to forget all the bulls##t that we have to put up with all day at our jobs or just because we want to
I had that idea, too. But the legislators in Annapolis are one step ahead of us - they banned smoking in private clubs, too.

I wish all these whiners would get a bubble and leave the rest of us alone.

Thought that American Legion Clubs and such were exempt

Things were fine with a separate smoking room. There is no need for a complete ban in restaurants.
Bet the polititians will still take the money from the cig companies at election time

Excuse me? WHO is trying to get everything they dislike banned?

So you're saying that when our rights are infringed upon, we're supposed to shut up and take it, and not say a word about it? This from you, who freaks about every Muslim that crosses your path?

Hey chill out chicky. I'm not lobbying for anything (except killing all the muslim animals). I even voted the ban was unconstitutional.

Yes, I do freak out over animals who kill for fun. And I will till I die. :patriot:

That's bound to occur, people are reluctant to change at first. Things will get worse before they get better.

As a reformed smoker I am soooo glad they passed this ban. I want to enjoy my food without smelling that odor! I would refuse to eat at Applebee's and IHOP because it smelled so much like an ashtray. The seperate rooms do not work! Recently I was staying with my mom and my sister. My mother was on one end of the rather large house with her window open, her clean air machine running full blast and her door shut and I came out of my room clear across this house and could smell the cigarette smoke plainly!! It does not work to put people in seperate rooms, non-smokers can and will still smell it! I say  for the new ban! JMHO! :howdy:
