I had that idea, too. But the legislators in Annapolis are one step ahead of us - they banned smoking in private clubs, too.chuckster said:I wopuld love to open a "Private Club" restaurant where you pay a quarter at the door to join for the day and you can smoke and drink and relax and try to forget all the bulls##t that we have to put up with all day at our jobs or just because we want to

Hi Chuckster!

Nope - not that I'm aware of.chuckster said:Thought that American Legion Clubs and such were exempt
vraiblonde said:If smokers would stand firm and vote with their dollar, restaurant owners would start to feel it and they'd be a little more forceful in sticking up for their rights as a business owner.
Unfortunately, it's not the nature of most smokers to act like whiny buttheads, bawling and puling about every little thing. So we keep giving our taxes to the welfare crowd while we stand outside smoking like good little sheeple.
I intend to stop dining out when this ban goes into effect. The food I cook is better anyway, and the beer is less expensive.

Negative. Already proven it has no affect and quite possibly improved business.chuckster said:This will impact sales in restaurants and bars
Sorry,,,been there done that. I watched sales drop 10 to 20% in 30 days when the first ban went in to lawMikeinsmd said:Negative. Already proven it has no affect and quite possibly improved business.
Excuse me? WHO is trying to get everything they dislike banned?Mikeinsmd said:You funny thing you. This is sarcasm right?? How many threads and posts occured today by the non-whiny smoking buttheads??
Hey chill out chicky. I'm not lobbying for anything (except killing all the muslim animals). I even voted the ban was unconstitutional.vraiblonde said:Excuse me? WHO is trying to get everything they dislike banned?
So you're saying that when our rights are infringed upon, we're supposed to shut up and take it, and not say a word about it? This from you, who freaks about every Muslim that crosses your path?
Good for them. They won't be getting my money.Mikeinsmd said:Already proven it has no affect and quite possibly improved business.
Cuz you spent it on that TV ad I saw yesterday!vraiblonde said:Good for them. They won't be getting my money.
That's bound to occur, people are reluctant to change at first. Things will get worse before they get better.chuckster said:Sorry,,,been there done that. I watched sales drop 10 to 20% in 30 days when the first ban went in to law
