The case against Trump

DeSantis was on a local talk radio program this morning and he made what is probably the best point for him over Trump:

Trump is going to have a hard time getting cabinet members and advisors because the Democrats drum up garbage charges to kick in their door and jail them.

It's a bit naive of Heavy D to think they won't do the same to him or any other Republican, especially since they now know they can, but Trump is definitely a lightening rod for the evil insane Democrats.

So...yeah, bullying works. Fascism works. That's a sad commentary on our American government. What it means is that good men and women won't step up because who wants their family and everyone they know to become a target of destruction and even violence? Like defunding the cops and painting a target on their backs, good men and women no longer want to be cops and the only ones who do are psychopaths.

In trying to read the tea leaves, I've come to the same conclusion. Yes, another repub would get pushback from the Dems but, IMO, it would be a tenth of what a Trump administration would get. Very few of Trump's previous administration came out of his term unscathed and that would deter a lot of folks from serving for him in the next presidential term.

Counterpoint Democrats are going to do that to ANY Republican Administration

They got away with it once, the persecution will continue .... this is the death spiral

See, that's the thing - because they know they can get away with it, we can expect to see more of it in the future. Also cheating elections they know they're going to lose. No consequences, so now they have a green light.

So if all that is true. (which it is not). Why is Trump bothering to run again if Dems can just fix the ballots?

Do you ever stop and think before you post things?

I don't understand how a bright orange conman broke so many elderly brains and turned a country against itself and encouraged them to empty their pockets to defend a "billionaires" right to break every law imaginable.

The wall is a glorious example of how stupid and simple-minded these Trump-humpers are.

How do you keep people out? A wall. A tangible item. That's the line of critical thinking, full stop. Nothing is considered beyond that, because it's literally beyond supporters' capabilities in what passes for their minds.

If Trump said we were going to build a big, beautiful TUNNEL to get to Europe instead of airplanes, his retarded base would back “The Tunnel”. They would bend over backwards to defend the most beautiful Tunnel ever.

I prefer to leave that to those with menial labor job skills. You know... the people that just accept that as their station in life and decide NOT to better themselves with education and opportunities. Just like those people at the drive-thru windows wanting $25/hour and still cannot get the order right! Keep paying them minimum wage otherwise there is NO incentive to get better. It just becomes another TAX on everyone else.

You mean the ones who decide to better themselves by coming to the US seeking those very jobs?

Again. think before you make assumptions and sweeping genralizations.

So you are willing to pay more for your goods and services to ensure those jobs only go to US citizens?

Because very few Americans will work for those wages.
