Yes I am quite easy going in that if I find my husbands clothes on bathroom floor I just pick them up does not bother me.I am easy going about housework .My hubby likes it clean and no clutter. I have a thing about germs .So I bleach and wipe surfaces clean .However if there is a bit of clutter I can leave it and not fuss about. I do not want people to feel uncomfortable and be on edge that they are going to mess stuff up.Some days I am in spring clean mood but basically I just get on with it.
I respect my hubby to come home to a clean place so I try my best.
However I always remember my mum moaning "a womens work is never done' .I think it just puts you on edge and home should be a place of calm.
My son knows to keep his room clear. The other day he said 'mum I have been playing in the cupboard today so I keep my room tidy 'bless him...but I think it is from my hubby who always checks his room.

I admit sometimes when I am washing kitchen floor everyday because the crumb monster is throwing crumbs everywhere I think this is boring but that is my job and for me to complain is fruitless and I could be a poor person rooting through the rubbish dumps ... I am so lucky. I certainly would not expect my hubby to do it....

Old folk saying that a sink full of dishes causes insomnia.... I slept fine last night :otter:

I must have my bathroom clean, I live with two males, they are messy.

I have never heard that saying. were you drinking last night?:really: :lmao:
Nothing sucks more than waking up to a sink full of pots.So yes I do try and get them washed up before bed unless it was a social evening and I was knackered or plastered which has not happened for awhile:frown:

Yes I can imagine my mind has boggled at the landing sites.....
My son once woke up sleep walking when he was four .Walked into our bedroom and did a pee pee in the corner. So more scrubbing brushes to the rescue:lmao:

I went to closing on my home on a Saturday. The next day I fixed a nice dinner for my daughter and myself and before eating I went out on the front porch for a smoke.
There were several police cars in the street and half my front yard was blocked off with crime scene tape. :yikes:
Turned out the guy next door was stabbed by his daughter because he insisted she do the dishes before going out with her friends.

We do not know the full situation but if it was her being selfish and lazy then that is so awful. Growing up I did a lot around the house -not just basic stuff but things like scrubbing down a whole conservatory, scrubbing metal racks, digging a whole large vege patch, weeding .organizing and washing out pantry etc.Dried up every night. Dusting and even wiping down house plant leaves .My sister washed up. However it was never enough and when I needed to study -very studious I felt bad.... This is not sob story -just saying violence is wrong but was something more going on or was she just lazy and bad.....

:lmao: They say never rouse a sleep walker. Shame there was no jug or container near by:lmao: I bet he had no recollection:lmao:

I disagree. Some people don't understand anything other than a crack in the head.

I guess there are varying degrees of violence -knife stabbing no no , being strangled with hands round throat no no
.Swift karate chop to head maybe:lmao: very last resort though not over trivial stuff like washing dishes. Big difference to a beating. Now Vrai you got me going back on my word

words can hurt more and have lasting damage I will say.....

Also violence breeds violence....

Don't worry, I don't bother with married women. I was curious because it's an attitude, a mindset that you don't see very often with people under about 50 or so... even with housewives.

Very true.

I hope dancemom doesn't see this tread.

dancedummy needs a good crack upside the head.

There was a time.... A REALLY LONG TIME AGO, I used to do things for the BF. Doing things never bothered me either and I worked full-time but so did he. I did our laundry and cooked and cleaned and he did whatever he wanted with no regards to my feelings. I finally woke up one day and realized I won't be his "W.I.F.E.", his Maid or his anything and I left. He found someone else. I came to realize I was better off w/o him.

Yet you constantly whine about being single. It's OK, not every female can grow up to be a good woman.

Oh, I have PLENTY of sarcasm. I do not whine about being single. It is what it is!!! I can't help the men I've met turn into Mr. Hyde.
