...tough is it, really, to be glad you don't live under Shari'a law and to acknowledge that, if not for the ascent of Christianity, we all would be?

And that that is a good thing.

now that is some BS right there.

if not for the assecnt of christianity you would all be jews, and i would still be agnostic. islam wouldn't have played a part.

that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

That's because you're looking to pick a fight and you know you're wrong. Bash Christians if you want. It makes you look like a dumbbell, but what the heck - this is America. Just be a man about it and stop getting all pissy and feigning innocence when someone calls you on it.

make up whatever lies you want about me if it makes you feel better (or whatever).

anyways, back to the post I replied to ....

just because you don't deny/denounce something, doesn't mean you stand for it.

Suppose you or Nucklesack one day get a bug up your ass, and decide to post a thread expounding on the likes of Phelps, and how he represents Christianity as a whole - especially the God Hates Fags thing.

And no Christians felt the need to rebut or rebuke such an assinine claim.

I would say that it's a fair guess that the tacit agreement would cause the two of you to implode with ecstatic antitheistic creamy delight.

And coming from you that really means alot.

If you thought the above was :sarcasm: you were right.

really?

so just because you don't activly denounce something means you are for it?

funny.

that doesn't make sense at all. I don't denounce any faith .... does that mean I'm for them all?

our blessings are the result of Judiac-Christian Law, the Age of Reason, and the Rennaisance (sp)...

The world is still waiting Islam to attempt the reformation or Rennaisance. Seems to me they are still rioting over cartoons, wrapping their women head to toe, and blowing up ancient Glyphs.

What would our founding look like if it was built on the ethics of Darwin or Marx?...sort of like the USSR in 1934...purges, death camps, total control of the media, no citizens rights....and survival of the fittest mentality.

well you would be wrong in my case .... and though I don't speak for him, I'd imagine you'd be wrong in his case too.

here is list of just a few.

sorry they didn't put this on Fox for ya :yay:

Ayatollah Ali Khamene’i, supreme jurist-ruler of Iran:
“Killing of people, in any place and with any kind of weapons, including atomic bombs, long-range missiles, biological or chemical weopons, passenger or war planes, carried out by any organization, country or individuals is condemned. ... It makes no difference whether such massacres happen in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Qana, Sabra, Shatila, Deir Yassin, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq or in New York and Washington.”

This is the guy who was a big adviser to Ayatollah Khomeini, of hostage crisis fame, and is now Supreme Leader of Iran. After 9-11, he also warned the US not to attack the Taliban militarily. AND he quite famously called Israel a cancerous tumor and said it should be removed from the region.

So...yeah.

I love how you have to go back hundreds of years to find abhorrent Christian behavior, yet one only has to go to...um...yesterday to find abhorrent Muslim behavior. Yet the Christians are the bad ones.

:killingme

Anyway, I'm officially bored with this conversation. All you intolerant atheists give me a headache and it's dismaying that someone has to explain the difference between logic and faith to you people.

I think the thing is, is that atheists actually do know the difference between logic and faith ....

How hard is it to look...

at places where islam has moved in in the past 40 years..and consider the results?

Africa...in its post-colonial age WAS challenged by communists (Angola+) and Despots (Congo)...and as that age slowly faded, and progress was being made...now waves of radical moslems have brought a bloodbath to places like Sudan, Ethiopia, Somolia, Nigeria.

Has Islam inspired stability, jobs, museums?...or free speech, better hospitals?
more likely purges, burned churches & clinics, refugee camps, dismembered children, weapons caches, and chaos...

Are Christian Terrorist threatening the Olympics?...No but radical Islamic terrorists have cost millions in security costs-releasing a video threat to disrupt and bomb the competition.

Thus the fruits of Islam.
