Those were pre-existing old munitions and in no where near the quantities that we were supposedly going to find. This is why WMD's are not mentioned anymore. Everyone knows that the WMD reason was an intel mistake, but Hussain violated just about every other UN resolution out there so it doesn't really matter. The US Navy has been capturing oil smugglers since just about day one afer desert storm.

With all the time given to them prior to the invasion, you don't think that a large amount of weapons made it across to neighboring countries?

C'mon. :smack:

We had satellites watching very closely for that kind of activity. I thought the same thing too, but it's just not the case. We had satellites watching for that kind of activity and we would've seen them if they did.

Who do you trust? Wait, let me guess, The NY Post and FOX Noise Channel.

Fox News if I had to choose. Doesn't mean I agree with everything they say, but I tend to agree with a fair majority of it.

That's hersay and speculation and it's really the weakest excuse I've ever heard come up. They may have been there, or they may not have, you can't sit around talking about things that may have.

Everybody knows the Easter Bunny hopped around Iraq collecting all of the WMD's, and then Santa picked him up in his sleigh. The WMD's are hidden at the North Pole.

Well they were certainly there when the Kurds got a taste of them. What, do you think that they just disappeared? As far as satellites, do you think that all the information gained through them we are made privy to??

While I'm for the war, every time I hear that "he had plenty of time to move them" excuse, this is really what I think. There were many other reasons to go after him, I don't think we need to make up more.

He gassed the Kurd prior to UN sanctions restricting his WMD's. That's a whole lot of years.

That's why even George Bush says he didn't have WMD. He destroyed a large quantity of them, after Clinton's strike. He was scared of US.

OK, so he had them in 1980-something.

If Saddam had them, he would have used them when we invaded.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it after the the Gulf War? I thought that the sanctions were in place, maybe not.
