He's a democrat, so.... :sshrug:

And the bullshit Stalinist media cheering that POS on, lying flat outright about the trial, and trying their damnedest to paint this kid as a white supremacist when race wasn't a factor in this incident.

Assh0les.

And I'm sure before this trial he spent his time plea bargaining premeditated murder, rapes, armed robberies, and several hundred mixed burglaries and assaults down to Littering.

There's pretty much a consensus among the lawyers I am listening to who are commenting on the trial today:

1) The defense needs to file for a mistrial with prejudice and the prosecutor needs to be fired and disbarred for violating the defendant's constitutional rights.

2) The defense lawyers are borderline incompetent; they sit there passively missing one opportunity after another to object to the prosecutor's bad behavior. In several cases, the judge had to do the defenses' job.

🎯 I keep saying out loud "where is the defense!

I think it a big mistake to have put Kyle on the stand....what were they thinking?!

The panel noted that in a sane world, the headline would be "Government Violates Defendant's Constitutional Rights" and subheadline "Prosecutor talks down to judge in open court"

Just sneakin' around....
I was thinking the prosecution knowingly violated the constitutional rights issue as a desperation move, hoping to get a slap on the wrist while seeding the juror's minds.

But the more I read, the more I'm dumbfounded by the absolute stupidity of both the prosecution AND defense. Where did these guys get law degrees?? Mail order? Cracker Jack?

That whole "do you understand what the different types of bullets do?" track that the prosecutor took was completely baffling to me. I'm quite sure that Rittenhouse and his shooting buddies buy their ammo for target fun just like the rest of us do....because it was on sale/cheapest at the time.

Yup, I buy a lot of FMJ because it's cheaper and probably more accurate. No intent on hunting with it.

I think he did it to get a mistrial. He's not going to win that case, so a mistrial is the best he can hope for.

Which sucks because he SHOULD be concerned with justice, not his shyster career.

He’s desperately trying to keep him on the stand, asking the same inane questions over and over again, in the hopes of triggering something he can use to pin a hero complex on him.

PROSECUTOR: "You decided you needed to run because of the fire?

KYLE: "Yes"

PROSECUTOR: "Why? What was so urgent?"

KYLE: "Uh, it was a fire." :drummer:

Right now he’s questioning him over why he didn’t leave his rifle behind when there’s nobody to leave it with.

What a ****tard.

At this point if I was on this kids jury I’d acquit just because this prosecutor had pissed me off asking the same questions 20 times each for the last two hours.
