.., I think at that point we just play hangman for the next 12 hours and then declare to the judge we are hung. .

Sat on a jury where we were hung the first day, judge wouldn't accept it..2nd day, same..3rd day, the lone holdout changed her mind, no explanation, she just said she wanted to convict...At the announcement of the verdict, the thugs in the back of the room said they were gonna make the jury pay..Ended up, we had a police escort out of the court to our cars and all the women jurors had escorts all the way home.

One jury I sat on was all 100% for a guilty verdict, then after we stated that verdict the Judge stated that the guy on trial had done this same thing many times before, but the prosecutor was not allowed to reveal that to us until after the verdict. So we made the right choice, and I suppose that is the way it should be but, it would have been easier had we known his past.

So it sounds like the judge is going to allow the jury to decide on lesser charges. He's giving the prosecution an out for overcharging. Plus it gives the jury an out. It may appease the mob to keep them from burning Kenosha and hunting the jury members down.

This prosecutor has tried multiple times to enter evidence that wasn't allowed. In his closing don't be surprised if he tells the jury, you don't want your house to burn down now .

This sort of thing is SUPER freaking annoying and will go away when I am Imperial Queen of the Universe. That's why we have so much crime in this country: because our "judicial system" is geared toward protecting them.

This prosecutor is going so hard after this kid, skewing the facts and making chit up out of thin air, I'm curious why. Is it ideology? Is he getting paid by outside actors?

He works for the state, and is supposed to be ensuring the guilty are punished and the innocent are exonerated. He's not supposed to be such a hardcore zealot.
