The Things Kids Do....

My son is almost 2, and he is very independent. When he wants to be alone he goes to his room and shuts the door, and when he is done he comes back out, unless he cant get the door open then he knocks.

Today he went in his room shut the door and played, after a while I didnt hear him yelling at his toys or throwing things around so I went in to check.

He has a Single bed and his crib in his room......He got up in the bed, with a HUGE Teddy Bear and is sleeping.

No I went in there to check on him, and I didnt want to wake him up. I should have taken the picture because now he is awake...(Power Nap) I hear all his toys going off.

I'm still working on having my camera ready when him and the dog both stand up on the couch and look out the window....Everytime I look I see a Diaper and a Fuzzy Butt.

Awwww! :huggy:

I have a cute story about my middle son, Timon (cat). This morning (during my usual routine) I let the dogs out, fed them, got something to drink then proceeded to walk out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I'm halfway up the first flight of stairs when my cat hops off the kitchen counter, runs across the kitchen and up the steps. He stops right in front of me, turns around and smacks me. :eyebrow: I look at him and say "WTF is your problem" then it dawns on me that he was hungry and I forgot to feed him, too. I went back into the kitchen and sure enough, his food bowl was empty.

OMG :killingme That is cute...my cats just MEOW at me untill I go fill up their bowl.

That story made me think of a woman I used to "Cat Sit" for, she has no kids, just her 2 cats. One named Sunny ( sweet Cat) and the other named Charlie Manson. Hes A black and white cat with yellow eyes and I can see him running up the stairs after her and smacking her for not feeding him.

It was until someone started a thread about kids. I thought it was only fair to include my middle child.
I guess all that matters is that you told me first. :huggy:

In My Opinion
I dont care how bad everyone says the twos are,, enjoy them and take lots and lots of pictures and videos.
with my daughter that was my favorite age.
everything was a new experience to her and everything was fun to her.
and, she was only starting to think she was smarter than me.

now that she is 10 and IS smarter than me, its just not the same level of fun.

Ok that was cute about timon hitting you for food, but what I find really gross is allowing him on the kitchen counters. :barf:
