Oh and I'm sure you know this Pete, but there is a gubbermint discount. Also, you could do a family plan with it as well, in case you were looking for Boy a simpiler phone.

:yikes: Then you can do the family plan and get you both blackberrys. Now the cool thing about that is, if you are on the same plan, you could turn "tracking" on his phone and look at where he is at any time. Also it has a blackberry to blackberry texting feature that works like IM so that you two can carry on a running conversation. You'll also know what time he read your message, so he can't say he didn't know he was supposed to do the dishes.

:roflmao: Go with unlimited text. I was on America's Choice Family Plan (I think that's what it's called), but you can't be on that with the Blackberry. I ended up having to put my phone under the premier plan but all of my phone numbers are on the same account (if that makes sense). I just pulled my account up online and see that my phone bill last month was cheaper than it was the month before! :yahoo:

I have unlimited txts so it didn't cost me anything. It was just startling to think someone with so little to say could send 6,000 freaking txt messages in a month.

I used to think I was the texting queen until my son got his phone. He averages 12,000 texts a month. He topped the charts in September with 15,200+ :faint:

I have 3 girls and none of them have even come close to his record.

That is so far beyond absurd it's not even funny. I thought my kids needed to be sent to the Gulag when they topped out at 3,000.

My gawd.

Stop Staring!!!!!
I am *gasp* considering getting a new cellphone. Yes, I know - I said my current phone did everything I needed it to. But I've changed my mind. :gossip: can take better pics with his cellphone, and they're a standard file format, not some crazy proprietary one that nobody can open if I send it to their email.

Plus I think I should have more storage for my pics and ringtones.

Any suggestions? What do you have and do you like it? I have Verizon service, if that makes a difference. Plus I want to be able to transfer my numbers, etc, to the new phone and not have to re-enter everything.

TIA!

I have the LG Dare. Works well. Plus I like the removable SD card. Adds 8 GIG of Memory and I can swap the cards out for anything I wish.

Maybe it's time for you to move up to a Crackberry! E mail 24/7/365!

Scott S. can't live without his...

I have the Sprint "equilivant" to the blackberry....Personally, it sucks(probably because it's Sprint)....I've had to hard reset it 3 times....when I've actually used it during the day, I have to turn it off and back on again when I try to "sync" it with my computer(mostly for charging)....The picture mail has to go through my e-mail so I can't send pictures to someones phone unless I forward them from an already existing picture mail

Every time windows updates, my phone works slower than a snail....a while back windows sent out 27 patches and my phone looked at me like "wtf, just happened" and shut off

I'm thinking my next phone will be a couple of cans and a string

I just read the reviews on my phone Verizon Krzr.

While it is listed as the prettiest phone on the street.....It preforms below par with music photos etc.

Pretty is all that matters to me, so I will never change.

Love my Dare. Heres one pic I took recently. Love the touchscreen. Love the camera, also the "slow motion" 120fps recording capability.

Another pic, click on it after it loads for the full size image.

another thing I love is having al my frequently used items on the "desktop". You can drag what you want on there. Me, I keep the calulator, the calender, my pictures and videos. Any of those is two presses away.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
I got the Blackberry Pearl... about a month before the Storm came out.:banghead: I do like it but it does take some getting used to. Wife has the ENV2 and she's like a teenager with texts. But since you always have a laptop then a BB might not be the way to go if compact web access is not a priority.

My son's Dare started to randomly call numbers, while just sitting on a table locked. Happened about 3 times now. Has anyone else had this problem?
