I hate to admit this....but when I was living in Lexington Park back in 92 to 93
My husband and his Navy buddies used to sit at the stop lights in their trucks and rev their engines while people where walking infront of them to make them walk faster...soon as that light was green the race was on....you had better not even be on the road...cause they weren't going to stop....and no, they were not drunk...they would do this after getting off work from the base...Yes, they would get really bored...let's face it there was really nothing to do around here back then and it still seems to be that way.
Thank God...I'm moving in another year...can't stand to stay in one place for too long.

I inch up to people that are walking INCREDIBLY slow across the road. And if you run a red light I am aiming for your passenger.

It sounds like your husband understands how the game works. You get points for very pedestrian you hit. If you can run down 3 or 4 kids crossing the road thats like 500 points.

:lmao: LOL, I was visiting my brother in New York City and was riding with him in a fairly large packing van on Wall Street making deliveries. I looked between our seats and there was a box full of 8-track tapes, I asked him why he carried them and no sooner did I finish my sentence, some Wall Street stuffed shirt :buttkick: J-walks right out between 2 cars in the middle of the block.

My brother slammed on the brakes, you could hear some of the load inside the truck slam forward and as the guy passed, my brother guns the gas, grabs an 8-track tape and rockets it to the backside of the dudes head, then my brother looks over at me and say's, does that answer your question???

Our point system years ago included getting lots of points if you hit them and they were on a bicycle!

The game has a very coplicated point system with lots of variables and bonus points for certain things. Somthings even cary negative points.

Is the point system listed in that new booklet you got pingrrr. I can think of a good 100 pointer

The points system isn't in the book. It would be a good addition. I may have to work on getting the points system on paper so I can add it to the book.

While I was stopped so a kid could get across the street and to school. Is their safety, education not important enough. Of course it's not because it's not your kid. I hope you don't have kids because they'll probably be taught to be as arrogant as you.

Should that kid not be allowed a chance to get to school. Should I have gone? I can alreadfy tell you if I had not stopped, nobody would've. Thus, he would have been late or worse.

Or perhaps your intentions were to have the kid run over... Either way, you need to get the #### off the road and go kill yourself so you don't put anyone else at risk.
I seriously doubt if said driver is a member of the SOMD.com forums.

In My Opinion
Im starting to see a serious need here for the legal registration of car horns.
I think that in order to get them a background check should be made, a movie on horn safety watched and maybe even some required hours logged at the horn honking range.

well, I for one am very glad that there are people out there that will stop to make sure a child can cross the road safely.

You never know, that act just might have kept that child from being hit by a car moments later. Im sure that the parents would be thankful for your thoughts and actions also.

You know what that does when you lay on a horn. If I'm doing something wrong and you tap the horn lightly, ok message recieved. But when you lay on it, it sends me from maybe not with it to pissed off. It's supposed to be used to amke you more alert, not to play music with. The horn just makes people very mad.

Unless they are already so mad at you they want to club you in the head with a tire iron, then that horn makes you dead instead of mad.

If I knew which vehicle out there was you, I'd lay on the horn every time I saw you because you kind of annoy me.
