You are correct. You're required to yield the right of way to a pedesterian

That is a quote out of context. But anyways if what your sayin gis true. I could jump out in front of a slow moving car 1 or twice a year and I would probably make 6 figures a year from the insurance companies.

The only problem I ever had with this is when kids in the neighborhood deliberatly throw a ball in the middle of the street when oncoming traffic is coming and take their sweet time picking it up. It's not my duty to enforce that though. It's something for the Homeowner's Association to take care of - they've warned kids numerous times. I do think, though, in that case that the parents should ALSO face some punitive measures for sheer dumb stupidity.

I would suggest you try it with a semi from a major trucking company. They have much more insurance.
:yay: sounds like a win-win for all of us

Um, no. If they are not visible or just jump out into moving traffic, they're liable.

While I was stopped so a kid could get across the street and to school. Is their safety, education not important enough. Of course it's not because it's not your kid. I hope you don't have kids because they'll probably be taught to be as arrogant as you.

Should that kid not be allowed a chance to get to school. Should I have gone? I can alreadfy tell you if I had not stopped, nobody would've. Thus, he would have been late or worse.

Or perhaps your intentions were to have the kid run over... Either way, you need to get the #### off the road and go kill yourself so you don't put anyone else at risk.
Maybe he just thought you were hot. It has been awhile, but guys used to honk at me and wave.

I have a segway with the good key in it. So when I cross the road I am to fast for a car to hit.

I get royally pissed off leaving work. I live in the wildewood tech section in St. Mary's county (aka right next to the airport). Anytime I leave for work I drive down Airport road and hook a right to get onto 235. The merge lane is a good mile long (it actually wraps around into the WIldewood shopping center) yet for some reason people decide they are going to stop and wait for the cars a good 1/2 mile away to pass before they get onto the merge lane. I COULD understand this if they were planning on making a left, but the closest left turn they are going to be making is at Rt.4 which is a good 3 miles away. I have sat there for 3 minutes waiting for people to drive. I must admit I start slamming on my god damned horn if they wait fo more than 60 seconds!
