Toilet Paper

I have never seen toilet paper on a shelf since this whole thing started. I ended up ordering four packs from West Marine. Not the greatest but it does the job.

Island Sushi, next to Fast Stop in Solomons has TP for $1 a roll with no limit. One of my co workers couldn't find any and I bought some for her plus to have at the store. They also have fresh produce reasonably priced. Nice folks.
RareBreed, I would be happy to get some for you since you work odd hours. Just let me know!

Ok, serious. For those people who 'buy as they need', and didn't have more than a few rolls in the house, and can now not find any on the shelves, what are you going to do? What are you going to use in the meantime?

Depending how old you are your parents and for sure your grandparents had cloth diapers let that sink in for a bit.
As long as you have clothes you have something to wipe your arse with.

Wednesday morning, BJ's had a palette with BJ's brand toilet paper. Some like a 24 pack. They had quite a few but only one to a customer.
A week earlier, they had a palette of Charmin - I think a 36 pack - mostly empty but it was, again, just after opening.

In addition to my household, my wife wanted me to make sure her parents had plenty, since they can't go anywhere.

We're good with toilet paper probably until summer. The panic among the girls is long gone.

We have been using bar towels that I got at Giant in replace of paper towels.

Get out your old t-shirts and underwear and put them in the wash machine on the heavy cycle and wash when you are done it is amazing how many people are not prepared or even think when these types of problems come up same with food if there is water and woods there is always food.

I ended up getting some ground turkey a couple weeks ago so I'm good. Yes, now stores have plenty of all various of meat. When I posted that I was "desperate" was when the hoarding was still happening. Now my freezer is stocked with ground turkey, pork chops, Italian sausage, and chicken breasts.

I have had pretty decent luck finding TP, I go in as soon as the stores open though.

I have seen it at BJs, Harris Teeter and Aldi.

There are two big BJs size packs at my moms house just sitting in her basement, no BJs there so I decided to stock her house up back in February and we haven't been there since.

The thing i cant find are the little alcohol wipes that you sterilize yourself with before you give yourself an insulin shot or check your blood sugar. Thankfully I always keep a couple bottles of alcohol in the house.

Also don't forget to check Family Dollar and Dollar General for TP. 2-3 weeks ago, the manager at one of the stores told my wife they are getting regular shipments.

Assuming I couldn't get ahold of tissues, napkins or paper towels, I told hubby that I would use coffee filters or shop towels if I had to!!

It'll make your coffee taste funny!
