I found a whole pack of these dainty little paper napkins when cleaning out my locker at work. The were left over from the drive by blueberry pie incident (Thanks SG!). My first instinct was to leave them in the lunch room, then survival mode hit me and I decided in a pinch...

Washcloths? They can be washed, at least.
A return to cloth diapers. Figuratively, not literal. I don't need diapers. yet.

I have a pretty good stock of TP, paper towels, etc... but in a pinch those shop towels in the garage will work and are washable.

Ha, ask anyone who lived through the end of socialism, or your Grandpappy who lived through Great Depression.
Sugar (plus some type of vegetable starch plus yeast) makes 'shine.
'Shine can be a valuable barter item when the economy goes to s*it and money is worth nothing.
A bottle of 'shine is usually worth your toilet fixed, or your small field tilled, etc.

Are people really setting up stills?

Sugar? Who the hell is stockpiling sugar? Wally and Commosary, both picked clean.
I'm telling you, the only section not picked clean is produce. Plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit.
Oh, and cheese, don't forget the cheese. It will bind you up after all the fruit and veggies.

It's like people just found cleaning their house and washing their hands - pigs.

I found LOTs of fresh veggies. :yay: I live within minutes of grocery stores, even passing them on the way home from work, so I can get more fresh when I need it.

Also - UNSWEETENED applesauce. I needed some and there was plenty of that. NO ONE likes it but us, apparently.

Yep, scored some nice oranges and apples.

Funny... I stopped at BJs the other day and the produce section was nearly bare.
I don't think they carry as much as it would appear, don't forget, ONE package of something there is like 4 in a regular grocery store.
But the aisle isn't 4 times bigger. Unless I'm cooking for a large party, I don't buy a lot of produce at one time, no need in wasting it

Throwing the deuces
Same with me. Have about 6 rolls but who knows when I will ever see TP on shelves again. Son and I did not communicate with each other and both of us went shopping. We now have 4 cartons of eggs and 4 gallons of milk. It says I can freeze milk and eggs without issue so I hope that is true. Oh.. and we also have three packs of hot Dogs.
FYI.. "They" were wrong about it being ok to freeze eggs. The shells ended up cracking and the yokes were hard and couldn't be scrambled. Had to throw a whole dozen out last night.
