Livin' Like Thanksgivin'
I was going to post one more thing and get the heck back to work but tatercake beat me to it.

I just don't see how checking to see if anyone had a good deal on Siamese cats equates to being cheap OR asking people to kiss my azz for all the hardships in my life.

I never asked anyone to kiss my azz, and there sure as hell ain't nuttin' wrong with trying to find a good deal.

Have a good day everyone. *poof*

You don't think he's done well for someone who is mid-twenties and pulling himself up by his own boot straps...

Why should I kiss his butt for it?

meaning that just because he's doing okay for himself it doesn't mean I'm any less likely to pick on him.

I wasn't being nasty or mean, and I even agreed with you about his smart decision when I said:

Agreed. I always get my ducks in a row before making any major moves/decisions. I'm all about planning and preparedness.

I saw him having to defend himself against the assumptions of others that he was cheap cause he wouldn't buy a cat. :ohwell:

Too bad he can't take a joke about being cheap. Sounds like a personal problem to me:shrug: People post seagulls about me all the time and you don't see me freaking out.

The LBFM comment was one he took seriously, and of course JH stopped when he was asked to. Just like the Pete and Dems goat issue...they were of a bit more serious nature than kidding someone about being cheap or talking too much, IMO.

and no one ask you to define "cheap". leave the guy alone ... he's bustin' his azz for his woman and their future which is more than i see from some not-so-cheap SOBs so why give him shiat b/c he want's to hold off on spending money on a non-necessity?

And that's very admirable. I certainly think that Sleuth is doing the right thing as far as saving $$$, trying to make a future for them, etc... If we want to bust his chops and give him a hard time, though, we have every right to do so. :bubble:

I think he handled the first mentions/jokes just fine ... but it became a :deadhorse when it was in other treads.

Everything around here becomes a :deadhorse and ends up in other treads. Why should this time be any different?

you sure do ... but it's the right of others to think you guys are going overboard and being meamies (and in MM's case, a downright smacked azz, cuz he don't know no better) for it, too.
