I want the garage .......... :yahoo:

Wuht?..its only 36 x60. The three-phase out here in the boonies only pushes 30A which will barely run my Bridgeport CNC mill and the P&W lathe at the same time..and forget firing up one of the six welders. It's pretty lame as hobby shops go...

Made some more progress today.

Interesting...I have a rather ..um..'extensive' collection of Ford Broncos ranging from 1966 to 1979. In my second shop bay is the restored rolling chassis for a '69 Bronc, but with a '49 Ford V-8 flathead mill installed in it. For something different.

oh and my dad wrecked a TR3 in 1971

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

this was the last car my father drove

in 1977 when his 2nd heart attack killed him he was driving a 421 Super Duty Version of this car

... and mom sold it with some minor front end damage for $ 500 bucks in 1978 :faint: I can still remember when he had the cam changed and the dual quads removed for daily driving ......... he would race down 210 from Forest Center Shopping Plaza, back towards the Super Chief Drive in

I have a brand spankin new set of .060-over pistons for the 8BA..but no spare con rods. I have a '46 V-8 complete with trans too. And a '66 428 with 427 heads..a '64 352HO 4V...a couple Oz-400 Clevelands...a Holman-Moody 302...

Oh..and the '49 8BA in the '69 EB?..its a little 'different', sporting multi-port EFI and a Powerdyne supercharger..for starters.

Mo progress. Started testing various body parts for fitment..after setting the fabrication 'jig' down on an old trailer axle so I can move the mess around.

454? Is that a GM product? Ick. :1bdz:

:buddies:

I had a couple GM products back in the day; A '57 Bel Air...a '64 Riviera and a '63 Caddy El Dorado convertible. Been pretty much all Ford for the last 25 years or so though.

In a few weeks I'll be getting the engine compression tested and hope to have good news - otherwise I'll be looking to buy a new engine, and I really can't afford that.
