Plan B?Of course...we are driving up to a wedding in Asbury, NJ that is supposed to be on the beach. Guessing that won't happen!
Yup, indoors!Plan B?
groanMaybe they'll just rename it from fair to inclimate.
The weather channel has been talking about this for days.I don't even know if they've decided on a name for it. It has barely reached tropical depression stage -
But the track says, it's headed straight for us - straight up the Chesapeake.
I'm astonished that this could happen so quickly.
Nah, if it's a wedding they shouldn't need that anymore.Plan B?
Keep us posted. Cloudy here now with light winds, so far.I’m currently in SC and have just had some light rain yesterday and a little breeze today. More rain and some light wind moving in tonight into tomorrow morning. Nothing horrible. More concerned about what’s going to happen up there. Had my son batten down the hatches around the RVs at the Port. Praying it’s not a major event for all of you there.
Y’all be safe (practicing my southern drawl).
My cousin is in Conover, near Hickory. We just got to NC, about an hour SE of Raleigh. Only drove in light for the last hour, and breezy. They have TS warning signs on all the roads in NC, but not really expecting it to be much to worry about.
Frankie said it in the video I posted earlier today.Officially named as Tropical Storm Ophelia now
That's, I think, quite a bit west of here. We're in Goldsboro. My cousin is in Conover, near Hickory.

My niece lives in Greensboro.I've got family down there too, some just south of Wilmington, and some near Greensboro. Becoming a very popular place to go.
