Oh yes. I've known Ray since I think about 1996. I used him for stuff all the time back before my skillset came up through experience. I can say it should cost you far less than it might with any other mechanic, and the work WILL be top notch. There is no job I wouldn't trust to him. Or his son, for that matter. Schedule, well, that's an open question. He doesn't slack, that's for sure, but he is one man.
Oh, I understand completely. It gets fixed when it gets fixed. I'm not really worried about when the repairs will be done and I get my truck back. I'm more concerned with the decimal places in the $$ figure. Hopefully it's not TOO too much; but if Dad's best buddy is involved; and he is; he will pay the bill and I will pay him back; like I/we did when the trans s**t the bed.
Hopefully, this brake repair is the last thing for a while. :fingerscrossed:

You are a grown adult, and you don't have the money to pay for it?
Why don't you wait and save, then pay it yourself.

I have to make a lot of the automotive parts I need..too poor to buy them. Like these Delrin AF bushings I just made tonight..to finish off the custom cylinder I've been building to hydro-assist the steering on one of my trail rigs. FAB LYF.

Hope you used all that yellow stuff to keep the work cool. Be careful though, that stuff gets in your mouth........worse than hydraulic fluid, I hear.......

Isn't there a forum rule about product endorsement?
