The Final Battle Is Upon Us: Sic Semper Tyrannis

Welcome to the Stalin States of Amerika. Come for the gnat salad, stay for the tyranny. Liberty is SO last century.

Tuesday marked a low point in American history. The political party formerly known as the Democrats went full Maoist and arrested the man who not only served as the greatest president since Reagan, but shined a light on the glop of sub-humanity living in the outhouse called Washington, D.C.

Joe Biden is a small, grotesque man. He showered with his young daughter Ashley. He “allegedly” sexually assaulted Tara Reade. He sent his crackhead son to play global bagman and hoover mad stacks from anyone willing to throw a few bucks his way for a favor. The Biden family sold out our country—not to the highest bidder, but to all of them.

Under Trump, we prospered; we were safe and we were happy. But communism can’t spread when We the People are smiling, so Biden pulled the Bat-chute and brought it all to a screeching halt.

Manhattan DA Bragg Reveals the ‘Crime’ Trump Tried to Cover-Up — And It’s an Absolute Farce

But on Monday, the Soros-backed DA hinted at the alleged criminal issue: Donald Trump committed “election interference.” Seriously.

“Donald Trump executives at the publishing company, American Media Incorporated, Mr. Cohen, and others agreed in 2015 to a catch-and-kill scheme,” Bragg claimed.

“That is a scheme to buy and suppress negative information to help Mr. Trump’s chance of winning the election,” Bragg added. “As part of this scheme, Donald Trump and others made three payments to people who claim to have negative information about Mr. Trump to make these payments.”

If you were paying attention, beyond the ridiculous hyperbole, Trump did not actually “catch-and-kill” anyone. Furthermore, “star witness” Michael Cohen, a convicted perjurer, has already plead guilty to paying adult actress “Stormy Daniels” (aka Stephanie Clifford) out of his own personal funds, and furthermore, Daniels had refuted the rumors in public that she had an affair with Donald Trump on multiple occasions.

Then there is the non-trivial matter that public opinion would not have been significantly swayed by the “revelation” of Trump’s alleged affair, due in part to similar rumors regarding Playboy model Karen McDougal swirling around as well as the Access Hollywood clip with his “grab her by the p****” quote.

We were told with Clinton it was all about sex, a private affair ....
Yeah, but that's not even what I'm talking about - I'm talking about the affairs and womanizing going on from Arkansas and onward.
When he was running for President we'd already heard about it. When we heard Paula Jones' story about him dropping his pants and asking her up to his room - was anyone SURPRISED? But the Dems weren't disgusted by it. When we learned what he did with his cigars, or having an intern under his desk while he was ON THE PHONE - no one on the left showed their revulsion. We had Dems proclaim after the impeachment that he was the most moral President ever to serve.

I don't think there's any reason not to at least INCLUDE Bill along with any other President as having no regard for women. Yet his name never comes up.

Just to be clear - I'm not talking about Lewinsky whatsoever.

I am not either ... as far as I remember all of Clinton's peccadillo's were ' private affairs ' and should be of NO concern to the Public

oh and the accusers were gold digging liars and trailer park trash

‘Political Persecution’ Evidence Mounts as New York D.A. Alvin Bragg’s Staff Leave Wildly Anti-Trump, Leftist Social Media & Job Trail.

Evidence of the long-asserted “political persecution” of former President Donald J. Trump is mounting, as cyber sleuths and Team Trump itself begin to release information linking New York District Attorney staff to far-left social media activism, as well as real-world consulting work with top Democrats.

The 45th President of the United States has long alleged that the charges being brought against him by the New York District Attorney’s office were politically charged, rather than having serious legal grounding. Now, the National Pulse can report the links between at least two senior staff involved in the case, and far-left activism.

The news adds to the already demonstrated links between progressive billionaire George Soros and the District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, himself. Bragg received up to a million dollars in Soros funding in the run up to his election.

Other District Attorneys’ office staff have been deleting their social media profiles in response to the reporting over their far-left links.

What the public knew in the lead-up was mostly as a result of leaks from DA Bragg’s office and speculation from political insiders and pundits. When Trump surrendered to authorities, was processed, and then escorted into the courtroom, we still didn’t know exactly what crime(s) our former president was going to be charged with. It was only once we were 20 minutes into the arraignment proceedings that we learned that he has been charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records. When the indictment was published, it was immediately clear that they kept it under wraps because it’s so flimsy and utterly laughable. As our Nick Arama predicted, Bragg’s engaging in “charge stacking,” a practice that is frowned-upon as an abusive tactic, the “second charge” that would possibly make the offense a felony is unclear, and the actions Bragg’s saying constitute the falsifying took place so long ago that the statute of limitations has expired.

[clip]

But if District Attorneys like Alvin Bragg and his fellow Soros-funded “justice reformers” George Gascon, Kim Gardner, Larry Krasner, and Kim Foxx have their way, political opponents will be prosecuted behind closed doors, with no ability for the public to truly see what’s happening. And we know that many of their accomplices in the media will absolutely look the other way, because they believe that people they disagree with shouldn’t have the rights the Constitution guarantees them.

It will be up to media organizations like RedState to do the work the mainstream media won’t, and to shine a bright light on injustice and abuses of power – provided, of course, that we’re not shut down by judges for “misinformation” or the subject of a political witch hunt. The Alvin Braggs and Eric Adams of the world would like nothing more than to shut down all opposition media, whether directly or by drying up our revenue sources. The events of the past three years have shown us that they’ll use every tool at their disposal to do just that.

It DID amount to what I thought it would be - tons of charges all connected to the very SAME thing. He found a way to come up with a second, third, fourth and so on charges for the same thing.

And even the left is now backpedaling with a great big WTF? because the case is crap. Fundamentally, there has to be an actual CRIME and the best Bragg can come up with is, he paid someone money to improve his chances of getting elected - which has never been a crime.

How did this stuff make it this far? I was somewhat expecting that Bragg had somehow dug deep into Trump's finances and found stuff no one had ever found before. NOPE. Just a lot of charge stacking.

He's letting murderers go free and trying to make a misdemeanor into a felony.

Yeah Charge Stacking ... EVERY Book Keeping Entry a separate charge for the purpose of making the ' crimes ' seem so much worse

Bragg states that hiding something in order to improve your political chances at running for office is a crime?

Why doesn't he charge Biden for hiding in his basement so people could not see how really aggressive his dementia is.

It's no secret I abhor Trump. My reason for this abhorrence is directly related to the way he has always treated women. I got my first whiff of him back in the early 60's. He's done nothing to change my opinion about his piggishness.

HOWEVER.... Politicians "appear" to be interested in the topics the constituents bring up, even though they have no inclination to put that topic on their "to do" list. Their "interest" is a lie, but at least they "pretend" to be the kind of person the constituency wants in office. He did not... and probably never will "appear" to respect the office. This man doesn't even attempt to hide his contempt for women. He'll "grab" them if he so chooses. For that I detest the man.

Trump reminds me of Herod the Tetrarch.

BUT.... I'm a bookkeeper. I've been a bookkeeper for over 35 years. Classification of expenses is essential to proper tax reporting. If Stormy was paid with election funding, that's an error any bookkeeper would be fired for. I had an accountant tell me it was a major cause of tax fraud.

I've also run for public office, so I know we are all warned about proper accounting for campaign funding. I was warned not to mess with the rules concerning proper accounting for campaign funding.

I want to hear it from him. I want him to admit he ordered the miscoding to avoid the appearance of tax fraud or improper accounting for campaign funding.

They're all bums, IMHO, so I'd like to hear it from the accused. Did he tell them to do it that way? Did he ever forward the money to the fixer? Did he instruct the fixer to "fix" the books?

I'm glad Stormy got paid.... a lot of people who did business with the accused will never see their money. She proved how smart she is.

Like my mom said... lay down with dogs and get up with fleas. We expect fleas from politicians.... fleas make a lot of accusations to line their own pockets or get the office they are seeking. We all know that.... so I need to know if the dog really did the deed.

I abhor him.... but I'm not so sure he called the shots. I think there is reasonable doubt in that the fixer is just as ruthless as the accused.

He reminds me of Herod! He would be thrilled if his daughter would do a pole dance.... but I'm not real sure he was actually at the helm for this stuff.

I gotta admit though.... the idea that someone named "Pecker" might bring the law down on the pig is hilarious!!!!

I have never heard of him grabbing any women, everyone loved the man until he became POTUS thats when all of this BS started they are very afraid of him and will do anything to keep him out of the white house all this BS is only making him more and more liked even by the people who did not vote for him

🔥 First, let’s quickly review the now six year-old story — as described in DA Bragg’s filed statement of facts.

In 2018, the FBI raided Michael Cohen and the offices of the National Enquirer. After threatening to put them away for ever, Cohen and the Enquirer’s owner accepted plea deals, throwing Trump under the bus by “admitting” that in 2016 they helped candidate Trump buy the rights to a prostitute’s salacious story for $130K, so that it wouldn’t hurt Trump’s election chances. Both Cohen and the Enquirer’s owner were charged with the process crime of an illegal campaign contribution — in other words, of failing to report the payments as campaign donations.

It was a pure process crime. Nothing about buying the story rights was illegal. Bragg’s statement of facts even admitted Cohen and the Enquirer were routinely buying rights from people who were trying to peddle harmful information about Trump. Bragg also admitted that at least one of the stories turned about to be false after an investigation (a doorman’s claim Trump had an out-of-wedlock child).

So the story-buying project, if that’s what it was, was not intended to bury “true” stories, just bad stories.

Bragg claims Trump’s organization paid Cohen over $400K for “legal services,” which Bragg claims was actually to reimburse Cohen for the $130K Stormy Daniels payment. Bragg didn’t say it, but the clear implication is that Trump also mischaracterized the payments, at least part of them, as legal expenses when he should have reported them as campaign expenses.

In Bragg’s opinion, anyway.

Candidates are allowed to donate to themselves, they just have to report how much they spend ON THE CAMPAIGN. Bragg (and many liberals before him) think the $130K for Stormy’s story rights was actually a campaign expense, just like advertising on TV, and it should have been reported as such.

To be clear: nobody is claiming that the payment to Stormy Daniels (not her real name) was illegal, or even that the payments to Michael Cohen were illegal, even though that’s all they quack about.

That’s basically the whole story. I wonder how many other politicians have bought helpful things but have never been prosecuted. Oh wait, that’s right, Hilary did it in the same election and just got a fine, after paying for the Christopher Steele “Russia Collusion” dossier. And the dossier was a LOT more expensive than Stormy Daniels’ sex story.

Anyway, that’s how the chips fall sometimes. Prosecutorial discretion and all that. It’s definitely not politics.

Now let’s consider the indictment.

Penal Code § 175.10 is one sentence long, and itself requires proof of a lesser crime, misdemeanor falsifying business records, under the immediately previous statute, § 175.05. That statute describes the crime:

So, Bragg must prove two “elements”: (1) that Trump had an “intent to defraud” somebody when the accountant miscoded the expenses, and (2) Trump personally directed the false entry to be made in the “business records.”

The whole case revolves around Trump’s bookkeeper entering Cohen’s invoices into the accounting system and calling them “legal expenses” instead of … what? Buying story rights? Donations to Trump’s campaign? Bragg doesn’t say what they should’ve been called instead.

What would YOU call payments to your lawyer?

Under the New York law, to qualify as a crime, the false record can’t be just any old business record. It has to be something that would cause other people to be defrauded, like investors, or an insurance company. Here’s how the statute defines a qualifying “business record:”

Courts have focused on that final phrase: “evidencing or reflecting its condition or activity.” In every case I reviewed, the business records were always something resulting in a fraudulent payment or a financial advantage, like fake time cards that got someone paid for work they never did (like Hunter’s Burisma board job, say), or recording regular payroll as a bonus to avoid paying state payroll taxes.

In many cases, New York courts found that particular business records were NOT subject to the statute, like putting false answers on a job application.

As far as I can tell, Trump’s legal expense entries didn’t create any financial advantage for the “enterprise,” and nobody depended on them that was or could have been defrauded. So it’s not clear to me that the Cohen invoices and payments were the type of business records that could be subject to the statute.

I'm not on the left.... I just don't like womanizing, pussy grabbing, pigs.

I DO want him to have a fair trial.... because IF he is found guilty by a jury of his peers ... I want there to be no reasonable doubt about it.

IF he's innocent... then the system worked and the innocent were shown to be innocent.

IF he's innocent.... a fair trial will sort all this out.

Gotta admit... IF he's found guilty... I'll be just tickled pink... but I want it to be on the up and up....

:coffee:
Please tell us how paying off a whore is some type of a crime..did he not go thru this before and did they not find him guilty of anything?
All this BS is past the statue of limitations is it not?
