You used the excuse the infrastructure wasn't there. So why would they approved it now if they can't get the ships into port or the supplies past the port?

Are you saying this is just a political move? Or are you saying our military and female are inept? or perhaps Trump is inept? Do you even know what your argument is anymore?

Exactly, so all your propaganda about how the infrastructure wasn't there and that was why he was doing it goes right down the toilet.

It wasn't *my* propaganda, dude. I simply posted what the DHS said about it. I understand that reading comprehension isn't your forte, but at least try and make an effort.

Or maybe he waited until the infrastructure was sufficiently cleared to allow the waiver to actually be effective?

The biggest problem is that the local authorities cannot get drivers in trucks or terminal workers in cranes and forklifts to actually move the rapidly growing mountain of shipping containers off the docks. The only effective distribution efforts are being executed by our military folks.

EDIT:

Nevemind. This is what I saw:

https://www.cbsnews.com/videos/deli...e-in-need-close-to-impossible-in-puerto-rico/

Puerto Rico's governor said food, water and medicine were just sitting at the port waiting to be delivered. So CBS News' David Begnaud went looking for the supplies, and found 3,000 shipping containers sitting there with enough supplies to help half a million Puerto Ricans. No truck drivers have come to pick them up.

You used the excuse the infrastructure wasn't there.

do you have proof otherwise ..... it is not an EXCUSE but a FACT
it has been widely reported the harbor is a wreck ....
the airport was operating on limited flights ....
debris blocks roads ...

So why would they approved it now if they can't get the ships into port or the supplies past the port?

Isn't that what you Progressives have been screaming for  now you want to question the status of the Port

Are you saying this is just a political move?

no Progressives are making it political

Or are you saying our military and female are inept?

 WTF are going on about Military AND Female ????

or perhaps Trump is inept?

No Nothing Wrong with Trump ... other than the progressive excessive whining

Do you even know what your argument is anymore?

you are the one hoping from point to point as each one gets proven WRONG

Cannot, why? Because they don't have a system in place or because nobody's showing up to work?

I reported that earlier .... characterized as too damn lazy to show up and work

You do realize many of these drivers lost their home and are trying to survive just like the rest of the island. Hardly laziness.

:yeahthat:

Puerto Rico's aid is trapped in 9,500 shipping containers

Only 20% of truck drivers have reported back to work since Hurricane Maria swept through, according to a representative for Puerto Rican Gov. Ricardo Rosselló.

On top of that, a diesel fuel shortage and a tangle of blocked roads mean the distribution of supplies is extremely challenging. Even contacting drivers is a problem because cell towers are still down.

"When we say we that we don't have truck drivers, we mean that we have not been able to contact them," Rosselló said.

Oh Wait that is CNN, I should find a right wing sight
