OMG! Your mention of nuts made me remember... have I got a kick azz tuna spread recipe you will love... it and it is to die for...

I8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup mayo

6 1/2 oz can tuna, drained

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 chopped pecans

dash of salt

Mix softened cream cheese and mayo together until smooth and creamy. Add rest of ingredients and stir until mixed. It is best when made ahead and put in fridge to set a while

Mmm, now that sounds like it would be good! Pecans instead of walnuts - whole different taste!

I mix the tuna with Kraft Sandwich Spread, it has all the extras in it already, and it has to be on lightly toasted bread or ate with saltines.

Tuna is nasty with cunchy stuff like celery, onions etc. I like it with either light mayo or light Miracle Whip and some black pepper spread on toast. :yum:

now I want tuna casserole! You know, the one with the crushed up potato chips and all.. yummy!

That's what I was thinking, tuna casserole. I'm gonna try making one of those very soon, one of the best comfort foods. There are fantastic tuna casserole recipes, and there are really simple ones (like mixing a can of tuna in with macaroni and cheese). :yum:"

...mustard, onion and relish?

Anyone got a more better one?

Add all ingredients to suit taste:

Finely diced or chopped onion of choice
Chopped or diced black olives
Mayo
Black Pepper
Paprika
Sea Salt: If desired
Garlic: Granulated or fresh-chopped cloves

Add salt, garlic and onions. Stir until combined and onions begin to break down.

Add mayo and the rest of the spices to tuna. Stir together with a fork.

Don't know if it's better; but I like it.
