You people are seriously deranged. Mustard? nuts? peppers?

There are only two things you put in tuna...hellmans and finely chopped gherkins.

sickos.

 Gherkins! I had forgotten all about those. I think my mom used gherkins, not relish, when she made her tuna salad. I got away from that as I got older. Might have to try it again. :yay:

Well I had tuna fish last night. I used light mayo and light Miracle Whip with a little sweet relish and some black pepper. I had mine on saltine crackers.:yum:

...mustard, onion and relish?

Anyone got a more better one?

Mustard, onion, relish...

.... mayonaisse, salt, pepper, garlic powder & diced celery.

Another great idea if you have a can of tuna that you're tired of seeing ... Mac & Cheez + tuna

The mac&cheese idea also works great with leftover chili, or taco-meat.

Fresh tuna is very good. That crap in the can is disgusting.

The crap in the cans are easier to mix into salads. I don't mind it.

But if I'm making a tuna melt, or if I just want plain tuna, those metallic bags are so much better. (You can also get albacore and salmon in those bags, all nice and fresh and delicious, and non-soggy)

The canned kind (water, not oil packed) is not so bad. I like mine with pickle juice and dill pickle slices. No bread.

If making sandwiches for the family I use mayo, mustard and black pepper. Lettuce is the added crunch.

If I had fresh tuna it would be eaten raw and not made into a salad. Wasabi, sesame oil and soy.
