TV and Computer

Nope. I can't do that.

Everyone obviously thinks it's okay to have a child so submerged in ipods, videos, TV, cellphones and texting that it doesn't matter.

I find it grotesque.

We have followed the trend and we now have monsters.

I am talking about my own son. He will not open a book and the "library" is a foreign word.

I am a biatch for trying to get things back on track. Maybe I am just out of the loop and this is the way children and adults are supposed to be...now
Do you really think you can force your son to like the same recreational activities you do or are you just simply venting knowing full well it is completely out of your control... I can't get the feel for where you are coming from...

I hear that selling magazines door-to-door provides hours of entertainment and physical exercise.

Computers, cell phones, Ipods, etc., are the way we entertain ourselves and communicate these days. Kids don't have to run a string between 2 tin cans anymore.

Some people adapt and use these changes in tehcnology for their convenience, others don't.
