I know this is a dumb question, but how does the average Russian feel about this absurd war that Putin has started?
My post was simply reflecting my belief that Putin is crazy enough to launch nukes.
The more pertinent follow-up question is : How would it matter? Answer: It doesn't

He is not being threatened by us and in reality, other than sanctions he is not being threatened by any other country. I suppose the question is will he nuke because of sanctions?
It would be a stupid thing to do as any Nuclear response would bring about Nuclear retaliations, and John Kerry just wont put up with that it would go against his environment policies.
At this point, it's not so much if he is or isn't. It's if he believes he is.

Sad but true. I always think of Russia as a country that isn't far from slavery.
The average Russian doesn't have much of a voice as far as i know.
Even the average citizen in this country has less and less of a voice every day as wokism and liberalism take hold. We are being run by minorities. Blacks being catered to, Indians being catered to, Hispanics being catered to. Liberals kissing the asses of every minority, and a political party owned and operated by political Brown nosers.
Just an exercise in what ifs but... If Putin were to launch a tactical nuke into Ukraine, what do you think the response by NATO and Europe would be?

Some pundent on TV made the comment in response to people saying that Putin is trying to put the band back together that most Russians under 40 likely don't have any idea what that band was.
He should have read Thomas Wolfe.

If they blew a hole in the concrete casing that would be bad, but as it is there is no reason for it to blow up.
It isn't like there is anything to do in Chernobyl to keep it cool other than the casing.
There are three other reactors there.
