Update on geezer who shot the skateboarders?

No, I don't know for a fact what his intent was. Having said that, if his intent was to "scare" them, they should take his gun from him and beat him till he is normal again. What type of chicken Sh*t idiot uses a gun to scare people then has a accidental discharge of the weapon?

So I ask. How'd that work out for him? You are defending his actions, have you contributed to his defense fund?
Do you have the link to his defense fund?

None. I don't think the kid's a poor little innocent. I think he's a jerk off who should have gotten a swift kick in his azz. I don't however think he should have gotten shot, and the lesson learned is now he's going to get paid by they guy who shot him.

How's that workin out? Still sound like a good idea to you?

Well maybe it will be money well spent. Maybe the lesson learned by the little heathen will make him also stop and think before he goes on another senior citizen tormenting rage. Maybe it may have saved the taxpayers a lot of money from housing the little punk as a repeat offender.

Unless you are the judge and jury you don't even know if they are going to be awarded any money in a civil suit. Right?

My point is even if the kid isn't awarded money in a civil suit, (that's not likely) how much money do you think this is costing that guy for his stupidity? Yea, he showed that kid good enough.

Having his name plastered all over the news and winding up in jail is a cake walk right?

How is it working out for the old guy? How many people on here do you think really will give this guy some financial help? There's a lot of talk but at the end of the day, this is costing the guy a lot more than it's going to cost the kid. Nice way to spend your golden years huh?

You and Hank should team up and become the big brother/sister that these poor little tikes never had.

I don't really care about the kids. I don't know if they are evil little pricks or idiots who were doing something stupid as all kids will do. I am not excusing their behavior, they should have been punished.

I just don't think the punishment should be shot in the ass.

The person who is really being punished is the dumb ass who shot them. Even if he is not convicted, and I really doubt that is going to happen, this is still going to have a huge financial cost for him.

Do you still think it was a good idea?

I think hank is one of the kids from that gang of gay hooligans that were harassing the old geezer.

So according to today's Recorder, Mr. Arminger won't spend any time in prison, but have 5 yrs surpervised probation, and attend anger management classes.

So back to my op

How do you think that vigilante justice worked out? I know the guys attorney, and I know his fees. So the guy likely paid about 10k for this, he is a convicted felon, prohibited from owning a firearm and has to report to parole and probation for the next five years.

The civil part of the case will now commence.

Still seem like a good idea?

I am so very blessed
If I were Mr. Arminger, I'd send the attorney's bill and any other receipts and documentation to the Sheriff's Department, since they didn't do their effin' job, and let them pay it. :yay:
