The point is that once you open the door to something like urine testing, you then have to consider the logical consequences and possible outcomes to such an action.

Blood tests are much more accurate, but we should probably collect DNA samples as well because then we could store those in a central Federal depository so that if any of them every committed a crime we could get them easier. We would also tattoo bar codes on everyone at birth that would match their social security number and then we could really track people from cradle to grave if they did something bad. We could keep out foreigners too because they wouldn't have a bar code or DNA sample on file with the government. And we could use bar code scanners to that the wrong people couldn't get into schools or other places where they're not allowed. Then maybe we could have a robot for President. Whaddaya think?!

we've got some state help, wouldn't bother me if they drug tested. we're drug free and have jobs. but i do think if ur on welfare and have the money to do drugs, u shouldn't be allowed on the program....take that money and buy ur food w/ it or pay ur bills!

don't federal/state employees have to take urine tests and background checks? how is it any different for welfare recipients? except of course that the employees have to work to get their money and see some of it taken away to give to the welfare recipients.

they dont test for drugs....obviously i would kno because we have help. BUT if ur on sec 8 (housing help) and u get arrested, they will take the help away unless u try to appeal it. then u have to explain ur case.
