It's all about confirmation and not jumping to something just because it seems an obvious conclusion. Remember the two blonde girls injured in the same vehicle accident... one ended up dying and they made an assumption they knew who was who and it turned out to be wrong.bresamil said:How do they know the first shooting was from a domestic dispute if they don't know who he is?

Ken King said:All speculation but what I heard was that it was the dorm room of the estranged girlfriend, who knows? Secondly. ever think that after killing the first two he heads over to an engineering building (might be stereotypical, but what better place to look for another Asian male), shoots a ton more, exchanges outer garments with an Asian male, inflicts a wound that appears self-inflicted, places the firearms on this now dead soul and strolls out with the crowd.
It's what I would do if I had no intention of offing myself.Larry Gude said:...point; The Hannibal Lecter move!

Bullet entrance from under chin lifting face and part of front skull cap off leaving no facial ID, remove any ID from victim and carry with you to make clean get away.Larry Gude said:...noted.
That is a rather interesting line of reasoning; need a chaotic setting for cover.
Problem is he was seen by plenty of survivors.

Come on use your imagination.

Yeah, if he had a shotgun that would be more believable. But couldn't a hollowpoint entering from below the jaw line and through the top of the mouth peal back a portion of the face?Larry Gude said:...this ain't Hollywood. You can't blow your face off with a 9mm, not enough of it to render the face indistinguishable. Now, if he shot someone enough times to do that, someone ought to have initiated a man hunt.
"Worse case of suicide I ever seen..."
It is horrific, but there was a lot of wounded people that could be helped. I think 27 hours is a little much, but resources are better used to help those that can be helped. And I don't know what the procedure is, but don't the bodies stay put until the forensic team does their bit? And with how many bodies, if his body was one of the last to get looked at...kwillia said:Listening to Foxnews on my drive home yesterday, they were interviewing the father of one of the casualities of the Columbine shooting. He said that the authorities were not releasing the identities of the victims even though he called numerous times during that day, evening and night because his son hadn't come home. He was watching the news coverage early the morning after and spotted his son lying dead on the sidewalk in some of the film footage. That is how he found out his son was indeed dead. Him and his wife raced to the scene with evidence that they knew it was him, but the authorities would not acknowledge them. He said his son's body layed on that sidewalk for 27 hours before being removed. How horrific.
