It's not a lot of food when you do portion control, it's just a lot of variety. I trim the delmonico's of fat and cut in half so it's about a 4 oz. serving
So it will be your version of Tapas good idea

A fondue pot would work, just read the box when you buy it. Of course you can do desserts...melt chocolate (milk or maybe even white, mmm) and dip cookies, cubed cake, lady fingers, fruit, graham crackers...anything.
Damn it, now I wanna get out the fondue

For dessert you should make some chocolate covered strawberrys... cant go wrong with those. I am making some for the b/f this weekend.

On Valentine's Day? Yep, you're a romantic.
Hubby won't be home tomorrow so we went out to eat over the weekend for Valentine's Day. We ate at this little place called Fireside Inn. The kids and I made and decorated cupcakes for the neighbors and I also made heart-shaped brownies drizzled with caramel and topped with walnuts. I don't know what I'm making for dinner yet tomorrow.
My fiance and I do not celebrate Valentines day on Valentines day because our anniversary is 4 days later. So we just put the two together it is easier on us that way. I think we are going to Outback on sunday for dinner.
And where will you and your s/o be dining? Department of Social Services?

Who left me the asparagus karma comment? That is sooo funny, I knew about the pee but not the other I may need to rethink the side item...
My date is planning a special surprise dinner

I'm planning a special date with 2 of the 3 men in my life.
me too! and it will be as good as I made it sound.
I highly recommend their meats. You can definitely tell a difference between there and the grocery store. They have filet on sale this week for $5.99/lb. You do have to buy 1/2 loin, but even if you freeze the rest and save it for later, it is still better than Giant or any other grocery. Definitely worth the splurge! BTW, this would go awesome w/ your garlic mashed potatoes and maybe some grilled or steamed asparagus.
