Cops should go around interviewing these people: "What exactly are you mad about?" If they can't tell you or make up some bullshit, send them home. See how many "protesters" remain.
They're paid to stick to a script. It doesn't matter if the script contradicts itself daily, they just hold the sign they're given, chant what they're told to chant, and get their couple bucks.

It's a shame someone driving by didn't lob a few tear gas canisters into the crowd. But if caught, they'd probably get a severe punishment; more than what the vandals will likely get.

I cannot get over the hypocrisy and ignorance of the liberal mind.
A few years ago Elon Musk was their hero for making an electric vehicle.
Now they want to hang him for trying to save America from bankruptcy.
Bankruptcy>>> Yes, bankruptcy. When you owe 36 Trillion dollars and pay 1 Trillion dollars a year in i9nterest and print the money to pay the interest you are bankrupt, whether we admit it or not. Letting that debt grow instead of paying it off at some point will lead to the god damndest recession ,depression, or whatever the hell you want to call it the world has ever seen. We cannot go on forever printing our economy on worthless paper.

I saw something where a protester was saying they were doing this because he acts like a total Nazi.
As though - even if true - he is not free to act any way he wants - it justifies wanton destruction of privately owned vehicles and charging stations.
They're too stupid to know - they're not hurting Musk. At least not directly. People don't want to buy Teslas because they fear terrorism by crazed lunatics.

Elon Musk has always been the smartest kid in his class, the smartest guy in the room, the innovator and expanded thinker. He's no doubt used to lessers attacking him because that's what lessers do. It's easier than bettering yourself. He's probably smart enough to know that once he bucked the overlords, they'd come for him and release the hounds. The level of ignorance and viciousness probably amazes him, but doesn't surprise him.

Not that you'd get an answer or have a meaningful dialog. You'd just get a lot of sputtering and yelling, maybe some violence, because the truth is they have no idea. They're just mindless animals sitting on command to get a treat.
These are the exact same people on parade during covid, so nobody sane expects rational thinking out of them.
Aside from the fact that vandalism and destroying buildings and such is already a crime - they feel justified - because they think he's a bad person.
NOT - because of something criminal he has actually done. Nope - "acting like a Nazi" apparently is sufficient.
And.... it never occurs to them that their predilection for smashing windows, blocking businesses, burning property and attacking people makes THEM the ####ing NAZIs.
