I wouldn't have paid a defensive tackle that kind of money but he's been kickin' butt this year and opening up plays for others.

You tell me he's not worth what he's paid (which is what I am saying) then tell me how good he is?

So it seems the key here is: Keep Portis out of the game and don't let Campbell pass the ball. That entire drive was virtually on the ground.

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Obviously numerous teams were willing to pay that and more. So, I guess he is worth it.

I said, personally, I wouldn't have delved into as much. However, he is a disruptive and productive force.

No. It has nothing to do with Portis. This is all about he O line. They are struggling at pass blocking, Denver's D line can be pushed around some and, necessity, just keep pounding and pounding, wore them down!

Portis is a follow-the-blocker kind of running back. He has no explosive burst through the line like Betts. This O line is set up for Betts' kind of running. They open quick holes that Betts is able to explode through. Portis' style doesn't work here.

My son in law is a Titan fan, insightful all around sports guy, and I asked him off season what we were getting and he said if we have a domineering D line coach, he'd play great. If not, look for him to be good but, to take a lot of plays off.

You can credit Betts all you like and he is running hard and I'm not even a Pottis fan. However, Denvers D line isn't getting pushed off the line by Betts or Portis or any other RB.

The O line gets the game ball in my book.
