Yup. That and statins. Statins, which prevent the liver and intestines from making cholesterol. Of which these organs make about 80% of the cholesterol every cell in your body needs, and of which makes up 25% of our cholesterol-rich brain.
Statins have been in use some 40 years now.

And? That's just around the time Alzheimer's began to become prevalent. (And no, not when it was discovered). How about that? What a coincidence that a drug that reduces a critically essential substance, cholesterol, just might be the causal in people developing Alzheimer's. Besides, sometimes it takes a while for lawsuits to grow legs. Also, with simple diet changes, no one would need that poison anyway. Too many looking for instant gratification rather than having a semblance of personal diet and exercise discipline.

I have seen reports that say statins and their anti inflammation properties actually may be reducing risk of developing Alzheimer's.

Certain viral illnesses may be involved too.

Diet? Lol, Forget that. We ain't changing. Pass the steak!

The only consistent link I keep seeing about Alzheimer's is the overabundance of aluminum found in the brain tissue of Alzheimer's patients.
I've only ever seen conjectures about the path for aluminum to get there - I have known nutritionists that blame it on canned goods, and they buy canned items with ceramic linings - but I don't typically eat anything out of a can, so that's not a concern of mine.

Aluminum is probably the most common metal found on Earth and it's in everything.

There was a boom in aluminum cookware and household kitchen items in the 50s and 60s. That’ll be the only way I could think of where I could get into consumption to any degree. Oh, and aluminum foil.

Don't forget aluminum in antiperspirants. Can't believe I forgot this .... Aluminum is also used in vaccines

And nicotine has shown some potential in helping with Alzheimer’s. (Not from cigarettes either).

Btw, eat all the steak you want, that's not gonna hurt you. It's eating added sugars in foods, processed and ultra processed foods, and refined carbohydrates (the other processed food), into one's diet that causes problems.

High level aluminum exposure has been repeatedly look at, workers in the industry. Inconsistent results were reported in those with long term- high occupational aluminum exposure, finding both positive and negative result. If aluminum were the problem you would not see negative results.

Something else is going on like viral exposure imo.

Still, I would skip the aluminum and no stick cookware.

I wasn’t aware it was in anti-perspirant, but I was aware it’s also component of many over-the-counter antacids.

Yup Per some AI when doing a search it says: "Aluminum is a key ingredient in antiperspirants due to its ability to reduce sweating."

Too funny that the study didn't study this ... "Workers in aluminum powder production in whom early-stage aluminosis was detected exhibited significantly higher aluminum concentrations at 340.5 µg/g creatinine and 33.5 µg/L plasma compared with controls (135.1 µg/g creatinine and 15.4 µg/L plasma) (10). Neurotoxicity was not investigated."

Now, I wonder what they would have found if they did investigate it?

Never. I'd rather die than have my eggs stick to the pan.

I roll my eyes at all these "sCiEnCe 🤪 says this causes that" because they're largely bullshit and reversed a decade later. If 2% of all people who (do this thing) develop (this ailment), then the reverse is true - 98% of people who do that thing will not get that ailment. Those are pretty good odds.

Also there is observational science that anyone can engage in and is significantly more accurate. Our moms smoked their asses off when they were pregnant with us, and we have a lot better mental acuity and fewer health problems in our old age than these kids whose moms bubble wrapped themselves during pregnancy. GenZ are the poster children for poor health, both physical and mental, and they're all over Reddit etc griping about their social anxiety this and allergy that and transgender the other thing.

So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the worst thing you can do for your health is have liberal Democrat parents. Second worst is being a liberal Democrat yourself.
