Speaking of the scrap pile : What ever happened to all the old Shovel heads, and why is it that Harley Davidson shops wont even work on them any more? You have to look for an independent to even get a tire changed.

Haven't found too many shops that will work on any old bike and then you get charged an arm and a leg. I learned to work on my own. About the only thing I've gotten done is taking a tire to have mounted and balanced.

Depends on the make of bike.. Some won't even promise parts for more then five years after date of manufacture.
