Our neighbor had one. She was awesome, the sweetest dog ever. She would come over and play with us and play with the kids. Sometimes we would go over and play with her. Us and the kids just adored her. Yesterday, my aunt came over and told us she had passed away. :bawl: She got bitten by a tick and came down with something (Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, I think she said) and by the time he got her to the vet, it was too late. I'm heartbroken and it wasnt even my dog. Have fun with your new puppy and PLEASE use Frontline or something. :huggy:

I still keep my eye open to breed mine, but fiancee said no more dogs in the house :bawl:

Our neighbors had people over last week with 2 puppy Rotti's....they are just so adorable when they are small with there big ole head and droopy ears :lmao:

If a man ever told me I couldnt have a pet, I wouldnt have a man. Im one of those "love me, love my dog" kind of folks. Let the man sleep outside.

We've thrown around a few names but are waiting to get him home and see his personality. The kids like Cosmo.

It took us about a week to name ours...

And that whole week with him running around, running into things, barking at it, and then carry'n on like nothing ever happened, we came up with ours.. And his name suits him VERY well...

But he also has nicknames he will answer to also

Not long before you got him I came across an article about them. I thought it was very interesting but I had never heard of them. I was so surprised to read someone had gotten one. Very cool. :yay:

He is a wonderful dog. Our breeder thoroughly informed us of what we were getting ourselves into, and even mentioned that catahoulas are not for most people. We were up for the challenge, and I'm so glad we have him. He fits into the dynamic of our family well, and picks up on training like a champ. You can literally teach him a trick, and he'll have it down within 10 minutes.

They did seem like great dogs. Their markings are so cool. They look "wild".
