Originally, they were. They're a mix of greyhounds and mastiffs, brought over by settlers a long time ago, then mixed again with the wild dogs running around. Now their breeding is pretty controlled, which is why they're so rare. They're very disciplined and great working dogs.camily said:

Me too. I've been searching up dog names. There are some hysterical ones out there on the "unusual dog names" lists.Softballkid said:

If you want to go that way, the name Argos is great for a dog. That's what we were going to name Cody, but the little one vetoed it. Good thing, cause he's definitely not an Argos.Softballkid said:
