Pig farm smell in its own category of unpleasantries.

A pig farm would more than likely belong to a Md. pig farmer , not a pack of dope mongers from Colorado , Chicago, and California.
Why don't they build their stinking plant where they live., they phuck over us and rake in the money.

Wasn't there a pig farm off of Rt235 north of Rt4 that had been there forever, and people buying into a new development nearby complained to the County about the smell?

I bought my house in Mechanicsville in March a few decades ago. Dead end road, the only thing beyond us was an Amish farm. Around mid April they spread hog manure on their fields. If we had not already gone to settlement I would have backed out immediately. It was a godawful stench for about 2 weeks. Luckily a couple of years later they switched to dairy cattle. Horse and cow doodoo smell like honeysuckle compared to hog poo.

Chicken poop seems to be the thing they use around here, then they disc and it goes away.
