What do you think? Should this be allowed?

Should children under the age of 18 be allowed in the gym?

Why would people take you in with open arms when all you did was complain about this area? You offended me from the start because you seemed to complain all the time about what a sucky place this is.

you know..when I first got on these forums..I thought people would take me in with open arms..but I offended plenty I came on too strong..and now I think because I am different..not from here...being military whatever it may be...it seems like ppl disagree or feel resentment..I don't understand.

:lmao: MOST people are not from here. You got on the forum, immediately put dowm Navy wives-especially enlisted, insulted people who grew up here, cried about your illness for sympathy, acted like the child you are and you expected what? Now do you understand? I doubt it so jump in your car and go back to Va Beach.

Where I work we seem to have a handful of members under the age of 18. Most are perfectly fine without adult supervision. I believe the earliest someone can workout on their own is 14 (not entirely sure, shame on me). I've seen some kids run wild as there headed to/from daycare and that's been kind of scary a few times - seeing a 45 pound weight dangling over a toddler will freak almost anyone out.

Obviously there's a lot more going on and more supervision (hopefully) at a gym versus a fitness center in an apartment complex.

If the kids are THAT out of control I'd say talk to management. I've had members voice their concern over kids in dangerous parts of the gym...

(Or you can try and stare them (the teenagers) down, but if you're not going to intimidate them you may get the nasty glance back :killingme or worse :lmao: )

City girls just seem to find out early
How to open doors with just a smile
A rich old man and she won't have to worry
She'll dress up all in lace and go in style

Late at night a big ole house gets lonely,
I guess every form refuge has its price
And it breaks her heart to think her love is only
Given to a man with hands as cold as ice.

So she tells him she must go out for the evening
To comfort an old friend who's feeling down
But he knows where she's going as she's leaving
She is headed for the cheatin' side of town.

You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes

On the other side of town a boy is waiting
With firey eyes and dreams no one could steal
She drives on through the night anticipating
Cause he makes her feel the way she used to feel

She rushes to his arms, they fall together
She whispers it's only for a while
She swears that soon she'll be coming back forever
She pulls away and leaves him with a smile

You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes

She gets up and pours herself a strong one
And stares out at the stars up in the sky
Another night - it's gonna be a long one
She draws the shade and hangs her head and cries

She wonders how it ever got this crazy
She thinks about a boy she knew in school
Did she get tired, or did she just get lazy
She's so far gone, she feels just like a fool

My, oh my, you sure know know how to arrange things
You set it up so well, so carefully
Ain't it funny how your new life didn't change things
You're still the same ole' girl you used to be

You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes...
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes...
Honey you can't hide your lyin' eyes...

Waldorf? Ehhh... Annapolis (at least) :yay: or Tyson's Corner :yay: :yay:

what I was kinda saying was....like a mall closer than almost an hour away thats all..I mean I am used to conveinence like I said. I guess like morgan said I did act rather childish..and I do apologize for some of my language...but some things I said were really true.. and I didn't start talking about my illness until here recently...and if you don't want to hear it too bad..it is a part of my life..something I have to deal with..like you are trying to deal with your aging morgan..it is all a part of life.

I understand the convenience part, but since I've moved here one thing I've learned to appreciate is the "all-day getaways" :yay:
