I buy my husband's dress pants on the internet (Lands End) because they'll hem them for free to any length. The stores around here make pants for midgets.

I've never had a problem buying shoes for me or my daughter because I know what brand(s) fit and what size to get.

I buy my shoes online only because I finally found a pair in the stores that fit, but I can rarely find it anymore. Not many 12 Wide Rockports in the stores these days
But again, this is only after hours of looking for and trying on shoes at different places.

Except for clothes shopping, the internet is the best place to shop.

How about the ONLY place to shop. I haven't been to a department store in years. Not only that, I even bought my car AND house off the internet!!!!

It's always an option if you see something online, find out where the sell it IRL and go look, touch, try it on then buy it wherever it's less expensive.

When my MIL wanted to buy a crib bedding set for my new kid, we found one at Burlington Coat Factory we liked, then went online and found a picture/description of it to give to her. I never would've bought it from the picture alone b/c it didn't look as nice as it did in the store. It was $20 cheaper online too.

All this time I thought small town was really into pottery LOL

We had a store called the Pottery Store and they were a combination of Big Lots and a Pottery Store...tons of terracotta pottery.

When I moved here was didnt have a Big Lots and I was upset over that....now all I want is a Long John Silvers.
