There ain't no way in hell there are 2900 kids at CHS. Believe me, I would know.

No you can't draft players but when I coached we went and found kids that were on the bench at other schools and we tried them out and brought them out but there is almost 3000 kids in chopticon and he can't find a good one? But maybe this isn't his year I mean he did lose his starting running back but it's not all on the back. Maybe it's finally griff's time to shine we'll see what happens this year and next year

And if you actually were going out and found kids that were on the bench at other schools, well, that sounds a little fishy to me. Does that mean you were recruiting kids and having them play out of their district? So were you actually a HIGH SCHOOL football coach??? Or just a pee wee coach that trolled??? And if you were/are just a pee wee coach, that's one of the reasons the Pigskins have died. Stacking the deck, drafting players ahead of time and out of their districts... I could go on and on.
Look, I'm by no means knocking Great Mills and kudos to ALL of them, coaches, players, managers, everyone. They're doing a great job and next year if L'town does the same thing, I'm sure we'll be having this same discussion except "insert Leonardtown here." Everyone's got the same schedule next year as they do this one, so we'll see.
I just hate (a) people that don't know their facts; (b) wannabees that think they know it all; and (c) idiots that love to take all the credit for the entire world.
I'm not sure if you are disagreeing with me or agreeing with me? But I respect you all the same.

Umm, we did look it up. Pssst... check out thread #42. From where do you get your info? And pay particular attention to the last paragraph.
Anyone out there, can I join the Tard Free Zone??? Please?????

Oh snap! You look it up. MPSSAA has the state divided into 4 different divisions, based on enrollment figures at each school. Leonardtown and GMHS are both Division 4A schools; Chopticon is 3A. 4A schools are the schools with the highest enrollment figures. Chopticon has a lower number of students in their school compared to Leonardtown and GMHS, and neither of them have close to 3,000 kids.
And if you are going to bust on Lisanti's chops about having all those kids to choose from, why not ask the same question about Leonardtown? They have more kids to choose from than Chopticon, yet they haven't had a winning record in how long?

Chopticon is a 3A division school, LHS & GMHS are Div. 4A. I believe the cut off is somewhere around 1501 (?).
Look at the best schools offensive stats and you will see one thing stand out: Balance.
Great rushing & passing - by more than one player.
First how do ithink i konw it all second how am i a wannabee third how am i taking credit for the intire world i was just saying that they should at least beat leonardtown untill then i will stay off of here if they lose i will blow this site to hell
I did but everyone knows they always lose
Well, I don't believe North Point should even be in SMAC, but that's a whole 'nother thread..
Why is that?
Why is that?
North Point is a magnet school, therefore one-half of their student body does not necessarily come from within their zone. Because they are not limited to their own boundaries, they have an unfair advantage over the other SMAC schools.
so then the same would be said for Ryken?
